My son has gone here since he was 12 weeks old, he’s now almost 8 months & he loves it & all of his teachers (Shout out Alexis & Maggie!!! ). I love it as a parent bc I’m constantly being updated on him and what he’s doing & I know he’s safe. Everyone I’ve met all been so nice, super friendly & know us by name even though my son isn’t in their class. I recommend Springboro Kindercare to everyone who needs a daycare/preschool. I’m so glad I chose to have my child come here & plan on keeping him enrolled as long as he can!

This place is very big and has wonderful employees. The downside is that it’s not clean at all. It is my personal concern to everyone that’s in this place from kids to employees. I think the management has to take this seriously if they want to keep this place running. Thanks.

My daughter started in the infant room when she was a little over 7 weeks old. The staff seems completely overwhelmed. Her lead teacher was great, but had no support at all. During the 5 ½ months we attended, there was a constant stream of new teachers in and out of the school. With the change in management in March, we were made promises that things would change. We even had a meeting with the assistant director about our concerns. First, we were worried that the small babies weren’t given the appropriate attention when their classroom was combined with the older ‘mobile’ infants. Secondly, there were toys thrown over the partition right where the non-mobile infants played. Finally, since they were supposed to be down in their own room, most of their belongings and cribs were not where they were supposed to be. When the new director started in April, we were all given a memo that the classrooms would be separated (younger and older infants) so the teachers were able to spend more one on one time with the children. Within a week, things went back to how they were originally. There were many times that I came in the room where children were asleep in high chairs or with blankets in the cribs or wrapped around them on the floor. Up until recently, there weren’t even enough cribs in the room with the number of children. One day, her lead teacher was not working and she went 7 hours with only 1 bottle. When I arrived to pick her up the assistant director was heating up her second bottle. When I asked why she wasn’t given it hours ago they said they didn’t know and had to ask the teacher who was in the room before. Her teacher was told the next day that she was overly fussy for some reason the day before. No wonder! I brought the issue to the attention of her teacher, who was horrified and the assistant director who said that she must have been sleeping or something, and pretty much shrugged it off. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. I have overheard other parents coming to teachers with similar complaints. I worked in childcare for over 4 years and never have I ever seen such poor management and staff turnover. They are hiring random people off the street with no desire to work with children. The few good employees they have are forced to constantly train and supervise these inexperienced people, only to be left time and time again. We are very lucky nothing terrible happened during our time there. We have recently decided enough is enough and transferred our daughter to another childcare center. I truly hope some changes are made soon for the rest of the children in their care.

My rating is based off a ten min visit and what my first impressions were. I had an appointment to come in and tour and the first thing we noticed when we walked in is the smell. It's awful!! Next, the front door slams when it closes so if your child is afraid of loud noses like mine, that won't exactly make them feel at ease. When someone finally acknowledged us, it was after 5 min of just standing there wondering if anyone was here! We told the assistant director that my daughter was scared, she'd only ever been to a private Nanny so school was a little scary for her. The A.D. acted like she could care less. She was very cold and not welcoming at all. I was hoping that she would engage my daughter a bit, but not one word was spoken by her to my daughter. When we went into the classroom the teacher didn't even acknowledge that we were there and it was nap time so she wasn't busy. Which nap time being 2 hours for 4yr be olds is way too long. My daughter would never be able to lay quietly for 2 hours!! Anyway, we never met who her teacher would be, the A.D did a terrible job at making us feel welcomed although I will say she made it VERY easy for us to decide that this school was NOT where we wanted our daughter.
