I want to start by saying that this daycare has many positive sides. The facility is very clean, well organized, and the teachers are genuinely kind, caring, and professional. My children feel comfortable there, and I truly appreciate the effort the staff puts into maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. However, despite these positives, I am extremely disappointed and exhausted with the way the after-school and no-school day care is handled. I signed my children up specifically for the after-school program because, as a working single mother, transportation is not always possible for me. The expectation when enrolling in an after-school program is that there is a plan in place for school closures, snow days, and no-school days especially since these are predictable and happen every year. At this daycare, I am required to call 24 hours in advance to check availability for no-school or snow days. Unfortunately, schools often announce closures or changes at the last minute, leaving parents with no time to call ahead. When this happens, I am told there is no availability due to lack of staff. As a result, I am forced to stay home and miss work. At this moment, I have been stuck at home for three days, unable to work, simply because the daycare did not have enough staff to accommodate children who are already enrolled. I am the only person financially responsible for my household, and I do not have anyone else to rely on for childcare. This situation puts me in an impossible position. What I do not understand is this: if there is not enough staff, why are children signed up for the after-school program in the first place? Enrollment should reflect the daycare’s actual capacity especially for situations like snow days or school closures. My previous daycare never had this issue; they always prepared in advance when school was closed. This is the first time I have experienced this level of inconsistency and lack of planning from a daycare. While I truly like the cleanliness of the facility and respect the teachers, this ongoing issue has caused me significant stress, financial strain, and exhaustion. Unfortunately, because this problem keeps happening, I will not be continuing with this daycare. I will also be reaching out to the appropriate channels to file a formal complaint, because working parents especially single parents deserve reliability and proper planning when it comes to childcare. This review is written not out of anger, but out of deep frustration and disappointment. I hope management takes this seriously and makes changes, because families depend on these services to survive, not just to “get by.”

Primrose school is head and shoulders above the rest of the preschool/day care facilities in the greater Medina area. We moved our daughter here after having a difficult experience at her previous school and we could not be more happy with how our daughter’s attitude towards school has improved and how much she is progressing academically and socially. She is thriving and it is in large part to the care and education she is receiving at Primrose. The facilities are always well cleaned, the food is thoughtfully prepared, the communication is excellent, top notch playground equipment, toys and all other items are really high quality and we feel great about our daughter being here. Like all schools there is turnover in the staff but, each time a new teacher has come onboard they’ve done a really nice job. You can tell that the management has good hiring practices as all the staff has been great. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Primrose has been such a blessing to our family and our 3 year old. She has already gained so many new skills and is blossoming socially. The teachers are attentive and kind, as well as patient. The school will happily and easily work with you on any concerns you may have. They are quick to come up with solutions. I’m beyond satisfied with the education and socialization my daughter is receiving here. Highly recommend!
