  Thankful for Miss Kathy and Miss Ashanti. My niece loves you guys!!! This daycare is so welcoming and everyone knows my nieces name. My mind is at ease during the day knowing she is with such a caring group of teachers!

  Our family has been a part of the Alpha Park Kindercare family for over 5 years now with our 2 kids. We've had our ups and downs but there is one thing that has never changed; they love our kids! We've had experiences with other daycares and none have been able to match the love and personalized attention our kids get everyday. All of the teachers are great but a few have been phenomenal. Ms. Kathy who's patience with the older infants is unmatched, Ms. Krystal who is the reason my son knew all of his letters and letter sounds at age 3, Ms. Rhonda who literally loves my kids as her own and Ms. Cheryl who's preparation and dedication are second to none. We've experienced a few different directors over the years and we really appreciate Ms. Michelle's responsiveness and how she has steered the center in the right direction after some rough transitions. We love you Alpha Park Kindercare! Thanks for all you do!

  We left a little over a year ago and I have been traumatized by our experience that I have hesitated from providing a review but want to share my experience to help anyone that may be considering. We went for approximately three weeks before I left sobbing, one day taking all their things and never returned. My children have been in daycare before but with moving jobs we had to move them to new location. In our first week, the center was closed without any notification to any parents, people pulling in and nothing. Doors locked. No communication. Week 2, there was a new director, and at pickup he looked so overwhelmed he was almost in tears, and quit the same day. My children would come home in tears telling me daily that “if they were bad they were made to sit on the rug”. There was almost never the same teacher in one room, because they constantly borrowed staff from other locations that would only be there for 1-2 days. I never got an accurate report of what took place. One day I picked up my daughter from her room first and there were 5 children left in the classroom, sitting on the “rug” sobbing. My daughter told me later that it was because they were all being “bad”. During multiple pickups all the children were watching avengers or marvel shows on a projector while staff were on their phones. My children became so distressed at drop off that they began crying every time. At the end of the day at pick up would see bowls of fruit, milk, food from lunch lying everywhere. The last day I walked into the single room where they were keeping all ages (with the projector running) and overheard two staff members having a conversation and cussing loudly. Children of all ages were in this room with my 3 year old son being the youngest. Children running everywhere, my daughter sitting in a corner alone with her head down crying. I asked where my son was and was told “I don’t know he might be in the bathroom”. I told the staff member this was completely unacceptable as he is the youngest child, not fully potty trained and unsupervised: he said, “okay”. I ran to the closed bathroom to find my son with his body lying across the toilet, feet in the air, naked with his head looking into the toilet, and he told me couldn’t reach to flush. It appeared as though he was about to be head first in the toilet with his feet in the air with the door closed unsupervised. The floor was covered in pee and all the young children’s ‘clean diapers’. Two staff members didn’t get up from their chairs as I grabbed my son and daughter and asked why he was allowed to be unsupervised and go to the bathroom while they watched tv, and the response was “they didn’t know”. I grabbed my children’s things and never returned. Voiced my complaints and got a call that they hope I’d consider a KinderCare in the future. Two days into a new childcare center and my children were coming home smiling, happy, no horrible stories, no longer asking me ‘if they were bad kids’. My regret is that we stayed as long as we did. There were two staff members that seemed nice, but I rarely saw them. I can only hope there is mostly new staff and legitimate management for the safety of the children.
