The Y is very proud of the high quality early childhood education services we offer families. Our preschool is a great place where your child can learn in a safe and nurturing environment to grow socially, emotionally, and physically.
My son started there in April of this year and I have already had multiply incident that resulted in me pulling my child out of this daycare. The first incident is that my child kept getting bite by a kid in the classroom. Next I walked in on the toddler teacher (jody) pushing my child in the corner. lastly, in the attempt to rectify the situation, we moved him to a different classroom. Once he was in that classroom, they tried to force outside providers to come into the classroom and interact with my child against my wishes. Ultimately, I had to pull him from the center because I did not feel like my child was safe there and that my voice as a parent was not being heard.

My child went here when she was younger and as she has got older to formulate words with her memories, they are not positive ones. The only nice teacher she had was Mrs. Patsy. Mrs. Hilean, Lydia or Linda(the director/admin), Hannah, and others were abusive physical and verbally to the children. They put on a very great front to parents but take advantage of and their frustrations out on children that were not fully developed verbally. I have been very distressed listening to her recall memories from her early education that were harmful and not pleasant. This place is tragic and I would NEVER recommend anyone’s child to attend here EVER. I will be looking into legal action corporately and civil. Very deceitful place Z

I feel like if your a daycare center you should have teachers trained to deal with disabilities. My grandson has ADHD which my daughter told them before he started. The director said oh we can deal with that. But once he is enrolled you wanna keep calling someone to pick him up. You should've just said you are not a trained facility that can handle his situation so that he wasn't started at a new place and then have to be removed and started somewhere else who has the teachers with the training and understanding. Complete waste of time and very inconvenient.
