Winston Preparatory School Long Island, a private special education school, opened its doors the Fall of 2018 in Dix Hills, NY. Our students have been diagnosed with language processing disorders, nonverbal learning disabilities, dyslexia, ADHD, and may struggle with organizational, executive functioning, social pragmatic, expressive language or reading comprehension difficulties. Winston’s unique model of education for the individual provides personalized skill remediation, while encouraging students to build resilience, independence, self-awareness and self-advocacy.
