  My child has been attending Merryhill Preschool for two school years and we have had the most wonderful experience. Mrs. T, the Assistant Principal, has always and continues to make us feel welcome when we come in each morning and is always willing to help and answer questions. This year, my daughter has had the great fortune of being in Ms. Watson’s class and she is truly amazing. She has helped our child grow so much as a student and little human - we all absolutely adore her. We cannot recommend this preschool enough and are excited to enroll our younger daughter when she’s ready!

  My little one has been going here for little over a year now, and we’ve had a wonderful experience at this preschool. The teachers are dedicated, caring, and truly invested in children’s learning and happiness. Mrs. Williams and Mrs.T do an excellent job with communication and community-building. Seeing smiling faces every morning at drop-off reassures me that my child is in wonderful hands. The staff really gets to know each child! - my little one often talks about her teachers, which shows the positive impact they’ve had. A special shoutout to the amazing teachers who have been part of my child’s daily routine this past year- Ms.Collens, Ms.Watson, Mrs. Rotzow, Ms. Celaya, Ms. Yurany & Ms.Valerie

  I cannot say enough good things about Merryhill at Blue Diamond. The staff is amazing starting with and Alyssa who is amazing and our current instructor Ms Celaya who is the absolute best! My son loves school so much and is always excited to go. The entire staff will know your child and you can see how they truly care about each family that attends.

  I definitely would give this school a five star however, I noticed that there was no US flag either outside or inside the classrooms? Nor did I see the pledge of allegiance in the classrooms? State and local requirements Nevada Revised Statute § 393.200: The state law requires that the board of trustees for each school district provide an American flag for every schoolhouse, to be hoisted on a flagpole on school grounds during school hours. Nevada Revised Statute § 389.014: This law sets aside time at the beginning of each school day for students to pledge allegiance to the flag. Clark County School District Policy 6113.3: The specific policy for Nevada's largest school district goes further, stating that an American flag "will be appropriately displayed in each classroom". It also mandates the daily flag salute during opening exercises. Mineral County School District policy: A sample policy from this district explicitly states that a US flag and a Nevada flag must be displayed "on or near each school building" and that students must be given an opportunity to salute the flag daily. It is critical especially at a young age to learn the at least the basic of how this country was founded.

  My son attended Merryhill Mountains Edge for a little over a year from age 3-4 for intermediate & pre-K classes. He had a speech delay when he began at age 3 and only spoke a handful of words. Within 6 months, he was speaking in sentences. The teachers at Merryhill Mountains Edge are phenomenal including Mrs. Rotzow, Ms. Watson, Ms. Celaya, and Ms. Collins. They helped him tremendously with his communication deficits. He is now ready for kindergarten thanks to the wonderful teachers at Merryhill! I wish he could stay there for kindergarten and we miss everyone terribly.
