We’ve had an incredible experience with Inspirations Early Intervention. It’s a state-funded program that more families should know about. It is such an amazing resource. Everything is so easy to manage, from scheduling to ongoing sessions, and having our PT come directly to our home made it seamless to stay consistent. The therapists are truly exceptional: so warm, engaging, and skilled at working with toddlers. They created customized, play-based sessions and taught us so much about how to support our daughter’s gross motor development day-to-day. Beyond the sessions, they also gave us helpful guidance on what to expect next and how to continue fostering her growth. Thanks to their support, our daughter is now meeting, and even exceeding, her milestones. We’re incredibly grateful and would recommend this program to any family without hesitation.

This place was highly recommended by staff at UNMH but I don’t know why. My infant daughter was hospitalized with an illness that left her partially paralyzed and thus obviously regressed in gross motor skills. Inspirations didn’t even get her in for an evaluation until she had been discharged from the hospital for a month. When they finally evaluated her, they spent as much, or more, time evaluating things that had no relevance to her situation—like social milestones, and her ears (I assume this would have some relevance if we were pursuing speech therapy, which we were not) than they did her gross motor skills. They then said she was age appropriate for her gross motor skills (she was absolutely not, and the PT my daughter had started seeing while we waited for an evaluation agreed with me). This was definitely not the right service for illness/injury recovery, and it seemed they only had time for children with severe or comprehensive delays.

Inspirations has been such a benefit for my family. Our autistic toddler receives multiple services and everyone who we've worked with has been compassionate, patient, and knowledgeable. I can't thank Inspirations enough for helping us get our toddler ready for preschool.
