  Lincoln tech South Plainfield is a great heavy diesel school and they have really reshaped the way I take in and put out information and it all translates to my work. one of my instructors Mr MeMe from the very beginning had me learning and understanding the diesel engines and how they operate with Powertrain systems, Troubleshooting and everything we do fixes real world faults and malfunctions you’ll run into into the work place.

  I’m going to start of by saying Mr. Meme is one of the best teachers within the group of instructors I recently finished engine construction (with a DIFFERENT instructor NOT MEME) when I learned basically next to nothing at all took a valve cover off then basically looked at the rockers and injectors for entirely of the class I’m not going to say the name of the instructor that taught the class due to the fact that I will be talking to a administrator about it. BUT it was NOT Mr.meme. now I am currently in diesel fuel system with Mr.Meme as my instructor and I was talking to him about how we got scammed out of our money from the engine construction class and Mr.Meme went ahead and stood up for us and is currently going to be teaching us what we were supposed to learn in the engine construction class. my engine construction class instructor that taught us felt that his way of teaching was going to make us learn (what we needed to know) most of it he had 0 clue what he was talking about again not trying to be rude but it’s not right. I am more than GRATEFUL for Meme being employed by this school cause he went ahead and taught us what the other instructor failed at doing. So Mr.meme all I can say is thank you for the incredible work you do at this school Mr.Harris included and I’m sure the school is aware of the instructor that I am complaining about cause I have not met a single person that did not complain about the instructor’s inability to teach us properly.

  Am currently enrolled in the electrical program with a 3.9 GPA. So far its been pretty fun and ive learned a lot about the tools I am going to be using in the field. I do wish it is a little more hands on heavy as I feel like we are in the classroom 50% of the time.

  I've been attending the electrical program for about a month our instructors have been extremely accommodating. The only issue I've had is the lack of resources being given to our instructors, limiting the amount of work practice we can achieve. The electrical program has only been active since Feb 10th I can only hope as time progress the administrators take their time to allocate more resources to our department.

  I finish this schools curriculum around June. Now If I receive the certificate is another thing, I don't really care no one is going to take the skillset of welding away from me. But that would be cool. However, knowing how to weld and mastering welding are 2 completely different things. The welding program is cool your melting metal and acquiring a new skillset. Tests and the bookwork is obvious, you're in a welding certificate program so welding isn't the only metrics at the stage. Some people like I've read in the reviews expect a power to fall from the sky its not college you learn and have to venture mess up and learn. That's the process in my opinion. At the end of the day It's practice you're doing. Now on behalf of the professors I can only say positive you have Desiree (student advisor) (Whom I meet with to apply for those 11 current scholarships on the school portal), Monica (Student intake), Frances (financial coordinator), Campo (My instructor), Merit, Malloy, Leili, Brad, and other Instructors I've seen but haven't really welded with per se. They're cool people and each individual has their teaching style and approach to welding which I observe and use to play or in other words weld. So If you plan to attend this school I would recommend it, Just use your time there to play and value the time you have with the machines and the room you're in. Those comments of people taking your tools /// Just don't let no one take your stuff simple. Cook your'e own sauce. If you have a bad machine find another booth If you have a bad cable, go find a good one. If you dont have gas, find the leak or simply ask whats up and go from there. Now in terms of the debt you're left with I mean yeah no-one forced you to go here you decided to and gave the green light when the time came. its a choice If you have a bad welding tree, then fix it
