Probably one of the worst places you can go and waste your money. Attending the school is like scratching off a lottery ticket. It’s one in 100 that you actually do something that day or even have a teacher at all. The management in the school is horrible never know who’s in charge all around horrible experience would never recommend anybody there. And to add on you get free items at that school for leaving a fake 5 start review.

The Lincoln Tech "Heavy Machinery" Scam: A Warning if less stars could be given, I would. I didn’t just lose money at Lincoln Tech; I lost three months of my life and career momentum. I took a leave of absence from my job in the construction field, walking through those doors with genuine excitement to level up my skills. What I found instead was a complete and utter fraud. The "Instructor" was a Ghost The instructor, Mr. Meh Meh, didn't just fail to teach—he seemed actively dedicated to making sure we learned nothing. There was no curriculum, no structure, and zero professional standards. Our class was scheduled from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, yet we were ushered out the door at 2:00 PM every single day because the teacher "wanted to beat the traffic." We were paying for five hours of instruction and receiving two hours of neglect. Total Lack of Equipment & Facilities If you want to learn heavy machinery, you need two things: machines and dirt. Lincoln Tech had neither. * The Machines: Every single piece of equipment was broken or dilapidated. * The "Seat Time": We were limited to moving a machine back and forth in a 15-foot straight line. No digging, no grading, no actual operation. * The "Curriculum": While the welding and diesel departments were actually working, the "Heavy Machinery" students were reduced to riding pallet jacks through a parking lot like it was a playground. A Bait-and-Switch Education The one day I finally reached my breaking point and confronted the instructor, he actually showed a glimmer of knowledge—and then immediately shut it down. It was as if he was rationing the information, deciding we had "had enough" after one afternoon of actual effort. When they finally promised us we would get to dig, they told us to stay home the next day and rot in front of a computer doing an OSHA 30 course we could have done anywhere. The Bottom Line In the industry, telling a foreman you went to Lincoln Tech for heavy machinery is a punchline. They don't respect the name because they know the "graduates" haven't spent a single hour doing real work. If you value your career, your money, or your time: Go anywhere else. This program isn't an education; it’s a high-priced parking lot for people who have given up on teaching. I am putting my name on this because I don’t want anyone else to make the mistake of trusting these people with their future.
