DO NOT COME TO THIS SCHOOL. The education department does not support you, and will always say in a subliminal manner, that you are the issue. Do not even try to talk to Dr. Brown, she will send you to someone else in the department, who will then send you right back to her. I ask for extra help, however, you need to accompdate the education department, VS them accomodate you for success. Communication in this place is terrible, and I should have realized when my admissions representative Cynthia barely reached out to help me get started. It was like I only heard from her on Tuesdays, and the entire process felt so unorganized since the school does not help you with financial aid. I needed help with my FAFSA, and everytime i thought i was done, nope something was done wrong, and i must have spoken to 5 different FA advisors (3 different remote and 2 different ones on campus who barely assisted either). Admissions and Financial Aid were always telling me conflicting information, making that process very hard and long to finish. In September, God forbid you need to use the bathroom or come to school late due to an emergency, they implamented a rule that you will be locked out of the classroom. So please make sure you never need to use the bathroom if you come here. The break times are a mess. The lunch room is so small, and its like everyone goes on break at the same time which means the bathrooms are full, no place to sit and eat, and don't even try to go downstairs to get food, your break is over by the time you even get your food. Which means you'll be locked out of your classroom again. I am SO GLAD I decided to leave and transfer to a different school. I left Lincoln Tech with a 3.4 GPA so i was not a bad student. But sometimes its better to leave a toxic place, especially when my cousin was informing me about her internship experience there back in the spring/beginning summer time 2025. She warned me to get out before i get in much deeper, because they throw you to the wolves with finding an internship site. If you want to feel like a prisoner, and treated like a 14 year old, than this is the place for you. Currently, it is like a breath of fresh air at American Institute. Please check out that school, you won't regret it.
