Our son has been attending Primrose School at Bedford Hills for the past two years, and I can confidently say it has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. After touring countless daycare centers in the greater Manchester area, none came close to the level of care, cleanliness, and professionalism that Primrose consistently delivers.
From the moment you walk in, the school is immaculately clean, organized, and inviting. The staff is incredible—always energetic, smiling, and genuinely happy to greet each child by name. You can feel the warmth and care from everyone, including the onsite owner, who is consistently present and engaged in the daily operations.
Our son is happy every morning we pull into the parking lot and just as happy (and tired—in a good way!) when we pick him up. The activities are well thought out, and the Primrose app provides updates throughout the day, often including one or more photos. As a parent, this kind of real-time connection is invaluable.
Another major highlight is the food program. The meals they provide are not only nutritious but honestly delicious. We’ve attended a few parent events where we were invited to eat with the children, and we were genuinely impressed with the quality of the meals.
Now, let’s talk about cost—yes, $500/week for full-time care might sound steep at first glance. But when you break it down, it’s about $12.50 an hour for top-tier care, curriculum, meals, and a nurturing environment where your child thrives. In our opinion, it’s worth every penny. The staff does a difficult job and does it with so much love—it shows in the children’s development and happiness.
If you’re looking for peace of mind, exceptional care, and a place where your child will truly flourish, get on their waiting list as soon as possible. You won’t find a better daycare anywhere in the state.

We absolutely love Primrose! Our journey began in 2021 when we enrolled our first child, and it only got better when our second child joined in 2022. Watching them grow and thrive at Primrose has been an incredible experience. The teachers truly care about our children, providing us with regular, thoughtful feedback that keeps us involved in their development. The owners are equally wonderful—dedicated to hiring exceptional staff and always being available when needed.
One of the things that makes Primrose Bedford special is the way they bring families together. They host fantastic events throughout the year, from holiday celebrations to seasonal gatherings, which we always look forward to attending.
But most importantly, Primrose is a place where our kids love to be. They get excited about Mondays and are eager to spend the week at school. In fact, they don’t like it when we pick them up "early" at 4 p.m.—they’d rather stay until 5:30 if they don’t have after-school activities like soccer or dance.
We’re so grateful for everything Primrose has done for our family. Thank you for creating such a wonderful, nurturing environment!

Parents beware! Just because the package looks good does not mean this is a high-quality learning environment!
-Teachers posted my child on their FB without my permission view-able by public.
-Teachers posting on their FB page that other teachers are having relationships with parents.
-Teachers posting lots of pictures of them drinking together and one was known to be underage.
I saw leadership yelling at staff member and making her cry!
Do your homework before enrolling your children here! This is not a program that provides a stable environment for children.

So far a great start! I enjoy receiving the photos daily in my email. She's always excited to go to school and made a friend day 1. What more can a mom want.
