They've changed over the years just like most agencies; city, state and federal agencies. Many people who work at the College don't mind showing their true colors nowadays. They smile in your face, but don't really want you to be successful. They only want you to invest in their courses, and earn their degrees. Deep down though, the staff only tolerates you while you're a Student, but don't accept a job from them after graduation; then you'll see their competitive side. The side that says you're not as good as they are, and they will prove to you that they can bring you down in a heartbeat. They start out really nice, but can cause you to lose everything and even become homeless, and they wouldn't even blink.

two years ago i signed up for one summer class, but decided to drop it because it did not fit my credit requirements. I dropped the class a day before the college-wide drop date. However, I kept receiving bills in the mail. MCC told me that this one, specific class had a drop by date of the day before. I called several people, I went in person to the offices and was told to just email two different people. I emailed these people, and they told me to call two different people. these people never answered their phones, nor returned my messages. I'm now getting sent to collections for a class i never took, because no one at this organization can answer their phone. the communication here is nonexistent. don't waste your money.

I attended for the summer last year. Over a year later I received a phone call from a collections agency saying I owed them money which didn't make sense to me because I used my GI Bill. Sure enough, they charged me for a book that was embedded into an online course. Even that is fine. What's not fine is that they didn't bother to send me an email or call (they have both email address and phone number). I had no idea and now I have to pay this money that I had no idea I owed right before Christmas or else my credit score gets destroyed. I have no issue paying what is owed but the communication, the effort on their behalf to reach out and let me know...pretty much non existent. Use your GI bill somewhere else.

Extremely disappointing that they have staff members that believe that it's appropriate to use slurs and the delusion of social media grandeur to influence businesses and abuse the staff of those businesses.
