Our children have grown so much throughout the years at Primrose. They have a great Pre-K program that helped immensely with preparing our child for Kindergarten. Thank you Primrose Teachers!

I love it! He feels very comfortable there! The whole team is very friendly and always has the child's best interests at heart. The teachers always do their best and try to do a lot with the children or teach them new things. I also like the sports program. And thank you to the wonderful cook who provides our children with good food. In addition, I personally love the annual festivals and movie nights outdoors. This gives the parents of the children a chance to get together and talk to each other. Thank you for being there! And for giving our children such wonderful memories!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Primrose! Our son graduated from Pre-K and our daughter is currently in preschool. Being new to Charlotte It’s been a special place for our family. What makes Primrose stand out is the balance of nurturing care and strong academics. The teachers truly know each child and have helped ours grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We especially value the focus on character development kindness, confidence, and responsibility are woven into everyday learning. We’re so grateful for the incredible teachers and leadership team. We’ve always had total peace of mind at drop-off, and that means everything. Primrose will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I have concerns about the school’s cultural competency and sensitivity. For Black History Month, the school planned to honor Madam C.J. Walker by hosting a “Crazy Hair Day.” I shared that associating Black and Brown hair with the word “crazy” reinforces harmful stereotypes and carries negative historical connotations. I suggested renaming the event to something affirming, such as “Fabulous Hair Day,” to celebrate creativity and cultural pride without perpetuating damaging language. While I do not believe the intent was malicious, the impact of language matters. Even unintentionally, using terms that have been used to marginalize Black and Brown communities can reinforce negative associations. I hope the school will take this as an opportunity to reflect and approach cultural celebrations with greater awareness and inclusivity moving forward. I also took my daughter out of the school because another solo parent mother was asked “ does the child have a father to give a Father’s Day card”. That was the last time my child was at the school.
