Primrose School of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel is an accredited daycare located in the Chapel Hill area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and summer camp programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
The team here at Primrose of Chapel Hill at Briar Chapel really takes the time to know every single student and their parents.
They know my son, the things he loves, his behaviors, and how he likes to play.
The school is always so very clean, and my son has lots of great friends in his classroom.
When I talk with his teachers, they always take the time necessary to fill me in on his day, they share photos of their activities, and he leaves school brimming with excitement about all he is learning.
I'm so grateful that we've been with Primrose, I know that he is getting the best possible start to his education.

We were excited to start our children here since we were moving from out of state and have had previous experience with the Primrose experience, however it wasn’t quite what we were expecting. The staff was nice and informative but the teachers we had for our kids weren’t very communicative with updates, especially with potty training. Our kids also cried almost every drop off for two months and weren’t necessarily excited to go to school even after months of being there, where our previous daycares they were excited. I think the teachers/subs we experienced were a bit overwhelmed and not as interactive with the kids as we thought they’d be. We did really like the outdoor play area for the kids though. This was also the most expensive daycare we’ve been enrolled with and for the experience I don’t think it was worth it.
I know this is a tough industry and managing parental expectations but after having our kids in 4 different daycares now due to moves, this was the worst one we experienced personally.

A big shout-out to the management team—they are organized, communicative, and truly invested in both the kids and the families. It makes such a difference knowing our child is in such great hands every single day. Highly recommend!

They have the best Executive Director you could possibly imagine. She welcomes every child by name each morning and is a cherished part of the school. We have also had tremendous experience with our Primrose teachers.
