This daycare is truly heaven sent. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. The teachers are energetic, intentional, and kind. The front desk is always welcoming, never snobby and very attentive. The manager is super organized and on top of everything. I couldn’t be more grateful for the care and love they provide.

I would recommend this location over & over again. Both Liz and Shadeia are so patient and loving to my daughter who has had a hard time adjusting to daycare. She now looks forward to going just to see her teachers and friends, her teachers give me peace of mind everyday I drop her off.

So...the sleeping bag of potatoes at the front desk is keeping the center from falling apart? Or the non-existent director doing it?(What's her name? Waldo?) Your good teachers are leaving or have already left. You treat the remaining ones like cannon fodder. Many of the parents are unhappy and are leaving. Kindercare is a corporation. It has many centers around the country and it uses them to profit off of parents who expect their children to be nurtured, loved, and educated as they grow. Parents pay you for those expectations so they can work to provide for their children in their daily lives. KinderCare of West Cary was a good center with previous director. The previous reviews have shown that. So, tell me, how is the current one doing again? The higher-ups might want to check in on that. And poke the person trying to keep the place open awake while you're at it.
Warm Regards,
A person with eyes

Like Mrs. Mirchandani, I am writing on behalf of Ms. Nicole and as the guardian of a child that has now been at West Cary KinderCare for a year and half, my experience is very similar to her family's.
Since my own children are 25 and 29, it had been awhile since I went through the childcare placement search and I was unsure as to what to expect nowadays as well as quite certain as to what I would and would not accept.
I came across Ms. Nicole and was very pleased with her professionalism and knowledge of her field. I immediately felt that my grandson was in good hands.
Ms. Nicole was at that front door to greet families in the morning and say goodnight in the evening. She shared anecdotes about my grandson that let me know she visited the classroom during the day. She also was there when our family experienced tragedy which I shared with her so that if it affected the baby she would know why. She kept his schedule regulated and normalized so I know that was a great help in him not being traumatized in any way. During this time, Ms. Nicole reached out to me and let me know that West Cary was there for me if my family should need anything. She made that known quite a few times and actually gave that support when necessary. She has helped my family tremendously and supported my grandson's development into a healthy happy toddler.
My grandson was never a crier so I never had the experience of him screaming as I left. From day one, he was loved and cared for in a manner similar to mine. Now at almost two, he hops out the car and struts into school like he owns the place. I feel good knowing that when he is not with me, he is having pleasant life experiences.
However, there were some times that were not so good.
I signed my grandson out from school to go to a Dr.'s appt. When we got back about 40 minutes later, we were told he would not be able to come back, because no one was there to watch him. ???? ok, so I had to call out from work.
I brought him to school one day and was told that there would not be anyone there to watch him. ????? Ok, so I had to call out from work yet again.
I had taken him to the doctor for some medical concerns and got an explanation written in a note for his file. One day I came in and was asked to sign a note that I thought was about an injury in class when what I was actually signing was a note that I would not bring him back to school for 24 hours, because of his medical issue that I had already paid a doctor to explain.
All of these events took place when Ms. Nicole was out at a teacher's conference that she had to end up leaving early so she could come back to the school to see what was happening. I hate to besmirch the teachers that did this, but those are examples of what happens without good leadership. These were teachers that were taking care of the children and making sure they were safe. They were not quite ready to handle administrative duties.
Ms. Nicole came back and I expressed my concerns and I have not had to call out from work again.
I was pleased with my relationship with KinderCare, but this is mainly because of my relationship with Ms. Nicole. Ms. Nicole supervised the part of the village that is the most near and dear to me and that is the safety and happiness of my grandson.
Every day on my news feed were daycare horror stories and I am so grateful to be blessed with finding Ms. Nicole who headed up a great staff that I personally saw taking classes for further learning.
Without Ms. Nicole, I am sure KinderCare will continue to provide quality care for children, but will my grandson and I be able to feel that same level of security, protection, and love that we have grown accustomed to with her and had become our norm????
