I’ll admit, I was nervous to enroll my baby in daycare. From the moment he started, we felt welcome and like my child was important. He’s been at TGY for ~5 months now and I have nothing but good things to say. The teachers are all kind and competent, it seems like everyone in the building knows his name and knows whose parent I am. Safety and individual parent wishes/child needs are prioritized. The center is always clean and communication is great. They do so many activities with the kids, feed healthy meals, and organize events for the whole family after hours. I am now completely confident in sending my son here. The enrichment, structure, and care he is getting when I cannot be there is invaluable.
My only suggestion for improvement at this point in time is I wish the “wobblers” (~9-12 month room) still took 2 naps instead of 1 - and a part time option would be nice.

Upon arrival for my first day providing ABA services at The Growing years I was welcomed by Ms. Zenobia who’s uplifting character immediately made me feel welcomed. I was brought into the classroom which I would be working in and showed around. Ms. Tameka explained in great detail all of the information I needed to know about my client. She was very knowledgeable of her students and I observed her handling classroom procedures with great care. Ms. Skyla was also in the classroom who is equally as welcoming and kind hearted. I also noted several classroom art works displayed on the walls, cleanliness of the classroom, and I especially appreciated the open environment this center offers. I. am looking forward to continue providing services with in this center. It seems to be a wonderful place.

When it came to picking a daycare for our little one, I knew it would be a tough decision, especially with being a first time mom. Leaving our baby with strangers terrified me, but luckily, we found The Growing Years. We signed our baby up a few months before he was born to ensure he got a spot, since daycares fill up fast. We LOVE The Growing Years and the staff. He started out in Ms. Casey and Mrs. Morgan's class and they were absolutely amazing. He recently moved up to Ms. Tameka's class and she is also so wonderful! We can't say enough nice things about his teachers. Even the floaters who come in and help out when his main teachers are on break or are out are so kind. We feel so comfortable leaving our little one there because they show all the kids so much love and care, not to mention our baby loves going. The front desk staff is also always so warm and welcoming. We are so glad we chose The Growing Years!

Our child has been going here since they were 3 months old. He has loved all his teachers so far, and we feel very comfortable taking him here. He is just 10 months old now, and has already learned so much. This was our top choice for daycare in the area and are so thankful we got in.

My daughter has been going here since her 2nd birthday (5 y/o now) and she absolutely loves school. When everything shutdown for a while she missed all of her teachers and her friends so much. This will be her last year here (Kindergarten next year) but I'm very grateful she has a place like this for one more year. With COVID going on...a lot of children aren't getting the chance to socialize with their peers, I'm so glad the timing worked out for her to be in daycare a year longer. Also, the teachers are fabulous in my opinion and they do care about children. I will say, there was a point in time around 3 years old where my daughter would be bitten by a classmate (same child) every other day. At least once a week for months we filled out an incident report, sometimes two days in a row. I didn't think it was handled correctly according to their "biting policy" (expelled after 3 times?) My child was probably bitten 8-10 times that year; but nonetheless, I believe in compassion for others and I'm glad they didn't give up on 'the biter', but yeah they could have done more to separate them and to protect my daughter. Hopefully that kid isn't still biting his 'friends'
