  Paul Mitchell the School St Louis has such a fun and positive atmosphere. The students are learning and practicing various cosmetology techniques all around you with student teachers to help guide them along the way. They all do such a great job!

  I was promptly greeted at the time I arrived. I sat for maybe 5 minutes and my hair stylist was there to take me back. I felt like I had been there for years!! Everyone treated me with kindness and respect. Everyone was smiling as well. Elle and Amanda were amazing!!!

  0 stars. Do not recommend. Two appointments 7+ hours each and left with orange hair and still made me pay for all their mistakes after gaslighting me and saying it wasn’t orange and could not be fixed. Absolutely unbelievable. Had to pay over 500$ for a salon to fix the damage they did.

  Everyone was very pleasant & professional, but my hair is still pretty yellowish & brassy when I requested more cool/ashy tones & toner was used. There’s also a sharp line on the whole left side of my scalp that extends around back where the roots were missed. The whole process took about 5 hours & parking wasn’t easy (you’ll have to pay), so after I use the 2nd part of my Groupon, I doubt I’ll return. Possibly if it was more of a convenient location, but it’s also hard to justify the time it took. Overall not bad, but just remember it’s a school so you likely won’t get salon perfect results.

  It had been 3 yrs since I had my hair done last so I was super excited until I left in tears 6hrs later. I told her I wanted my hair cut to my bra line and we’d go from there(my hair originally was down to lower back). Well it’s to my shoulders now. I asked for all over platinum blonde because that’s what love and ended up with an ash blonde that has gold tones. I didn’t know they only use 20v and they also don’t use heat. She only left the foils with 20v on for like 20 mins. My hair isn’t going to pull in 20mins with 20v and no heat. I’ve gone to hair schools before and my hair came out great but this experience wasn’t so great. If I would have known they only use 20v and no heat I would have never gone.
