Kids with Class KC

Kids With Class KC is a Christ-centered tutoring program dedicated to helping students who are falling behind, frustrated with reading, or at risk of long-term reading challenges develop strong reading skills and reach their full, God-given potential. Our mission is to develop the skills of reading so every child can succeed with confidence. Kids With Class KC offers a one-of-a-kind reading recovery program designed specifically for children who need more than traditional classroom instruction or standard tutoring. Our program was created by a Reading Specialist with over 30 years of experience in education and is built on proven, research-based strategies that produce real, lasting results. Students often make remarkable progress in a relatively short period of time—gains that stay with them for life. Our expertise is helping children succeed in reading by focusing on fluency, the most critical factor in reading development. Fluency is the bridge between decoding and comprehension, yet it is often overlooked in schools and many tutoring programs. At Kids With Class KC, we intentionally teach fluency by guiding students step by step through the phonetic code of the English language, strengthening accuracy, speed, and confidence with each lesson.
