  Our 17 month old is currently attending KinderCare Byron Center. We’ve been loving KinderCare, her teachers, Amy and Sophia running the whole show, and the community we already feel apart of. This is our first child, and I spent the last year vetting about 7-10 daycare centers in the SW GR area. KinderCare has been the best balance of price, community, flexibility, and care for our growing family. They are clean, comfortable, caring, and communicative. Do your research, trust your gut for your family, however KinderCare has our vote for our little one. Good luck on your search!

  I would not recommend sending your kids here. Our original summer care fell through and this was the only location nearby that had openings, now I understand why. Our son did not feel comfortable and was being bullied, which we were told is a known issue at this center for other kids as well. We were told we would get updates on him throughout the day, but they would rarely even log updates outside of him arriving and leaving care. He would ask for water and either be ignored or told he couldn't have it. I've overheard employees yell at the kids from across the room instead of going over to address the situation. My son refused to even look at some of the employees when I tried to drop him off and later found out it because he didn't like them yelling. I told the director we would not be returning because of the ongoing issues, they didn't seem to care and acted as though we hadn't brought any of these things to their attention. I've reached out a few different times in the last week because I refuse to send my son there any longer, but they continue to charge me the overpriced weekly rate for the care our son was receiving and haven't bothered to respond to my request to remove him from the program. Please do not make the same mistake we did, look somewhere else for childcare!

  I have tried since September of 2023 to get my 4 year old transferred to this Kindercare location. Between myself and my mother we have called and called and called and every single time we were told that my daughter would be added to a wait list. The first time we were told there would be openings November or December 2023. After not hearing back at the beginning of November as well as the middle and end of November we were told there would be availability December-January and this time they PROMISED my daughter was at the top of the call back list. Not a single contact from them since I first reached out in September 2023. Thankfully my mom has a job that allows her some flexibility and she spent most days since we were told they would contact us attempting to get in contact with someone there and/or being told someone would get back to us ASAP and that again, my daughter was top of the list if any spots opened up. It's now the end of February 2024 and I still have not been contacted by this location. I've given up on even trying with this location anymore. Every time we contacted them the management had changed so not a single person remembered my situation. I highly highly advise against enrolling or attempting to enroll your child here.

  We LOVE the Byron Center Kindercare!!! My son absolutely loves his teachers and we have never had any negative interactions or situations with the staff! I would recommend them to anyone!

  Excellent staff!! Clean and organized place. I couldn’t find a better place for my son’s care. I love it!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
