River's Edge Forest Play provides nature immersion play experiences for children ages 3-11 that inspire deeper connections to nature, self and others so children can thrive. It's a place where children come to play but learn to thrive.
I had an incredibly positive experience with my child’s therapist and am so grateful for the care, support, and partnership.
Ben has had parent sessions for both me and dad to talk about what we’re noticing in our newly turned 10 year old in their first year of public school and brings a tremendous amount of understanding and knowledge to the conversation, peppering our inboxes with helpful references and tools.
My child’s 1-on-1 sessions: Each session starts with a “Hey buddy!” and ends with my kid giving Mr. Ben a big bear hug before hopping in the car. Sessions are a mix of chatting about the current goings-on in their life and “the why” behind some of what they are feeling, thinking, and/or how they are acting (or reacting). This blended approach has been helpful not only for my kiddo, but for me, as it helps me navigate raising a child who’s experienced parents divorcing, going through custody, etc at a younger age.
Very grateful for Ben and REFP’s partnership and the additional advocate in my child’s corner as they get older and navigate inevitable teenage problems.

We absolutely love River’s Edge! We’ve been taking our daughter to several weeks of their summer camp for the past two years and it’s something she always looks forward too. We love the exploratory and outdoor-focused experiences, the incredible staff, and the fun and engaging ways that the camp makes every week feel unique! The best week is for sure the art week and we can’t wait to go back next year for lots of fun!

My son Ross has attended a couple of the days off camps and recently several of the summer camps. I can’t express how much we have loved this place and staff. Ross is only three years old, so he sometimes still gets a little emotional at drop offs for school or at other camps- this was the one place Ross did not look back when he would get out of the car. I am looking forward to more of the days off camps/summer camps because I know how excited Ross will be to see everyone and live his best life outdoors! This is truly a special place.

We LOVE Rivers Edge! Our daughter comes home dirty, exhausted, and happy after spending a full day outside exploring and connecting with friends and nature. This place is where core memories and character is built. We’ll be sending our younger kids for sure when it comes time. I also love that they offer single day programming so we can fit it in with part time daycare.

My son said this is the BEST camp he’s ever been to! Normally he gets distracted easily but here he was completely immersed and engaged in all the activities! He learned new and exciting information that he couldn’t wait to share! His favorite day was when he fell in the creek and came home muddy from head to toe! He can’t wait to go back next summer!
