  A fantastic school that feels like a second home. All the teachers here know my entire family and make us feel incredible welcome. If you are looking for a loving, caring, school that enriches your kids then there is no better school in Howard County.

  Primrose of Ellicott City is truly a special place. From the moment your family becomes part of the Primrose community, you feel a sense of belonging that is hard to put into words. I had three children go through Primrose of Ellicott City from infants to 4s. We loved every teacher and assistant. Each day, families are greeted by name, and the staff—including the owner and director—take the time to genuinely know your child and your family. When you drop your child off in the morning, you have complete peace of mind knowing they are not only safe, but deeply cared for—almost as if you were leaving them with a loving family member. The team clearly understands child development and thoughtfully supports each child’s individual needs. Diversity and inclusion are not just talked about; they are intentionally reflected in daily interactions and instruction. Academically, Primrose sets children up for success. You can be confident that your child will meet developmental milestones. Unlike other schools or centers, Primrose also has educational coaches that support teaching and learning. The staff are highly trained and participate in ongoing professional development focused on the Primrose curriculum, child development, and safety. Children are learning through intentional play. Families receive regular updates on progress and have opportunities to engage through conferences and school events. The staff consistently goes above and beyond. Stop looking.   We had a great experience at Primrose School of Ellicott City. Both of our kids went there, and the teachers and staff were always kind, patient, and easy to work with. Our kids were happy and comfortable, which made drop-offs stress-free. Communication was solid, and we always felt like our kids were well cared for. Also many of the teachers and staff have been there for years, which provided consistency. Lastly the school provides lunch, snacks, diapers, etc., which made life easier for our busy family. We’d definitely recommend the Primrose School to other families.

  Our daughter has been at Primrose for the past two years, and it’s truly been a wonderful experience. From Mr. Falgun and Ms. Karen to the amazing teachers and staff, everyone is so warm, caring, and dedicated. You can feel how much they truly care about the kids, and as a parent, that means everything. The curriculum is thoughtful and well-rounded—it balances academics, social-emotional growth, and creative play in such a natural way. We’ve watched our daughter grow so much in confidence, skills, and independence, and we know she’s ready for kindergarten thanks to the strong foundation she’s built here. One thing we’ve especially appreciated is the transparency and open communication with both the administration and teachers. Any time we had a question or concern, it was handled with such care and honesty, which gave us complete peace of mind. Primrose has been such a blessing for our family, and we feel so grateful to have been part of this community. I would highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing, supportive, and high-quality start for their child
