This school is terrible and extremely expensive. When I went on the tour, I wanted to enroll in the Medical Assistant program, but I was told there were no available classes until the following year. I decided to enroll in another trade in the meantime, so I chose the Welding program. While the program itself wasn’t bad, it wasn’t something I wanted to pursue long-term, and I only stayed for about two to three months. During that time, I was involved in an altercation where a male student put his hands on me. I reported the incident to my instructor, who responded quickly. However, when I was told to report the situation to the female dean, she informed me that there was nothing she could do and that I would have to continue attending class with the same student. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The student housing was also very poorly managed. When I first moved in, everything seemed fine and I got along with my roommates. Later, I moved into another apartment with people I knew, along with a new female roommate who developed a crush on me. I did not reciprocate her feelings, which made me uncomfortable. I reported the situation, but nothing was done, so I eventually stopped pursuing the complaint. The situation escalated when she falsely reported to the school that I said she “sexually assaulted” me, which never happened. At the time, I was attending a wedding in Atlanta. When I tried to explain my side, it felt like three people were against me, and I was wrongfully accused. Despite there being proof that I never made such an accusation, the admissions representative did not support me until the leasing office contacted the school to confirm that I was telling the truth. After that incident, I switched into the Medical Assistant program, and things were fine for a while. However, near the end of the program, another altercation occurred in the parking lot. The following day, staff brought everyone together for a meeting, but the situation was handled unfairly. It felt like the staff picked and chose who to defend, did not allow everyone to share their side, and shifted blame instead of listening. The school claims to care about its students, but their actions show otherwise. They overcharge for unnecessary expenses and refuse to let students continue to the next module if monthly payments are not made. They are quick to lecture students about professionalism, yet they act unprofessionally themselves, showing little respect while demanding it from others. If i knew that any of these things would of happened i would have never came and i don't wish anyone to come here before doing their research.
