We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Primrose of Rockland. The teachers are caring, attentive, and invested in each of our children’s growth—both academically and socially. Our boys are excited to go to school every day, which says a lot.

We made the switch to Primrose School of Rockland in December, and the difference compared to our previous daycare/school has truly been night and day. Even though our time here is short with Kindergarten starting this fall, I'm so incredibly grateful we made the decision when we did, because the impact it's had on my daughter in just a few months has been amazing to see. From the very beginning, the staff has been welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in the kids. The environment is clean, structured and full of warmth! You can truly see the care and intention behind everything they do. My daughter's Pre-K teachers are incredible! They consistently take the time to communicate with me about her day and her progress in specific areas, and you can feel how much they truly care about each child. One of the biggest things for me as a parent was consistency with teachers. At her previous school, there was a lot of bouncing around between staff, and even teachers leaving without notice. It's hard for a child to build a connection and feel secure when the people they're attached to suddenly disappear. At Primrose, having the same teachers each day has made such a difference. My daughter feels comfortable, supported, and knows what to expect. I especially love how the kids are included in the classroom, like being assigned "classroom helpers," which gives them a sense of responsibility. They also make school genuinely fun. The monthly calendars include things like pajama day, show and tell, stuffie day, bringing in a favorite book to share-just a few examples and things her previous school never did. The parent involved events/activities they have are another thing that makes you feel welcomed and involved. I recommend Primrose School of Rockland to anybody and everybody! It's more than just a "daycare", it's a place where your child is supported, encouraged, and genuinely happy in a school-like setting. If only we had made the switch sooner!

I called to see if they had any openings for my daughter and was told yes. I set up a tour and completed it, just to be told there is no openings. This place is racist. At the end of the tour we was told we would receive a email to further the process and if haven't received it in a day to call back to let them know. We didn't receive the email so I called back to be told there is no openings and my daughter would have to be placed on a wait list. During the tour I didn't see any other kids that look like my daughter. I believe that's why we were denied in a polite way. If your black or of African American descent save yourself the stress of embarrassment and resentment.

My wife and I live in Hingham and have two children at Primrose School of Rockland. My kids, aged 3 and 5, have very different personalities: Both are happy, thoughtful, and well-adjusted, but one is big, outgoing, and expressive; the other is more reserved, circumspect, and contemplative. Both of them have flourished at Primrose. They have both made big circles of the best and kindest friends. Our kids come running out of class every afternoon full of excited stores about new things they learned, built, and thought about that day. This is a place where education is taken seriously, and a love of learning is inculcated. My son, a precocious preschooler, currently reads on a third grade-level. He devours books at home. It isn't just that he's a smart kid; the anonymized test results for his class show remarkably outsized improvement for all of his classmates from the beginning to the end of the year. My kids (and my wife and I) have loved every one of their teachers, all of whom have been positively stellar. The administration is proactive, always available, and communicative. Classroom and playground facilities are new, clean, and well-maintained. We frequently recommend Primrose School of Rockland to fellow parents.

We have been going to primrose since it opened, seen its growth for almost two years, and now have two children enrolled! The food and meals provided have been amazing, the staff is now very consistent and patient, the facility is beautiful and my daughters learn a lot through the curriculum and socially every week. I feel confident in my choice to send them to primrose!
