- BBBrenda Baio`Sep 6, 20225.0If it weren't for Fusion Academy and all of the amazing teachers and everyone else at the Hingham location, my daughter wouldn't have been able to make it to where she is now. She finished her junior year amazingly and was able to bring her GPA up going into her senior year. She has her confidence back and I know that came from her grades from her time at Fusion. She finally feels like the same girl she was pre-pandemic going into her senior year and has the same aspirations for her future that many of her peers do. My husband and I can't even express how happy we are with the grades and coursework and we know that's because of the program that Fusion Academy runs.

The Fusion teachers meet each student where they are with a combination of expertise and love that inspired my learners (and me!). My daughter was so happy to be able to 'answer and ask as many questions as she wanted' due to the one-on-one setting. While my daughter has always been interested in artistic expression, Leah (Fusion Teacher) introduced her to poetry and planted a spark. My son who is determined to challenge everything was given the gift of structure to accompany that determination by his Fusion teacher who custom designed a course on the psychology of persuasion for him. I could not recommend Fusion more highly.

We made the decision after visiting with Jacob and his team and experiencing the wonderful, caring environment they provide. Prior to enrolling in Fusion, Charlie was diagnosed with ADHD and the burden from keeping up with the curriculum at our local high school was causing a fair amount of anxiety. The one on one work at Fusion is incredible as they worked at Charlie's pace to help him understand the topics instead his prior school where they were just going thru the motions and hoping he gets it. The progress Charlie has made would not be possible without the help of Jacob and his caring staff. At Fusion the students are part of a family and I cannot say enough positive things about the experience we have had. Charlie's prior grades of C's turned into B+ and A's and his anxiety disappeared. - MCMariann ConnorsMay 9, 20215.0I am not sure I can find all the words to properly thank Jacob Weaver and his staff and describe our experience with Fusion Academy in Hingham. In a nutshell it was hands down one of the best decisions I have made in my life. When I look back and compare my son’s experience with the public school system, I honestly believe Fusion changed the course of his life. When you have a child with certain differences, learning may take longer. Despite their tremendous efforts, results are often a fraction of their peers setting them up for painful comparisons and bitter frustration. Instead of a fun and fulfilling experience, school can become a breeding ground for depression and anxiety, and assignments a battle ground at home. It is exhausting for parent and child alike. The playing field is not always a level surface. With Fusion’s one-to-one teaching that was tailored to him, it set him on a path to succeed academically, socially and emotionally and his self-confidence grew in ways we only dared dream. He experienced a love of learning and looked forward to going to school every day in a calming, nurturing and fun environment. My son was so fortunate to be the first graduate of Hingham Fusion and although he may be done with high school, the entire staff has become his family and I am certain that he will remain close to them.

After years of feeling like the public school "just didn't get" my very social/athletic kid, we have found an academic home at Fusion. Fusion-Hingham supports our son in every way. They are helping him daily to find his passion and to feel like a competent/worthy student. The staff met him where he was, and they are bringing him further than he believed he could go.
