“This is the best daycare my daughter has ever attended. “The daycare director is so nice, and the entire front desk staff is wonderful as well. Everyone is welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help .my daughter loves her teacher’’Miss McLean’’ she is so nice—she knows exactly how to connect with the kids. Miss Mclean is an exceptional teacher. She is patient, kind, and truly dedicated to her students. She goes above and beyond to create a positive, supportive environment, and my child is thriving because of her care and guidance.” My daughter has been to many daycares, but this is the only one where she was truly happy, comfortable, and thriving. I am so happy that my child is in this school.”

I’ve seen immense improvements for my son’s learning progress since he started attending Primrose in just a few short months. Excellent staff members that are friendly, approachable, and show a genuine interest.

I am deeply disappointed with the experience my child and I had at this school. Today, when I picked up my son, I asked his teacher about his progress. She gesticulated dramatically, rolled her eyes, and said right in front of him that he doesn’t listen or understand anything in English. She mentioned that he only knows the letter “M” and doesn’t recognize shapes, numbers, or the alphabet. Her negative comments and eye-rolling were very disheartening, especially in front of my child.
The teacher suggested I buy toddler books from the dollar store and implied that speaking my native language at home is the reason for his struggles. This assumption was incorrect and offensive, as I have been living in the US for 20 years and speak mostly English. I explained that my son can count to 60 and communicates well, but we haven’t taught him about 3D or 2D dimensions, which I believe is something he should learn at school.
Her body language and comments made it clear that she doesn’t like my son. I’ve noticed that my son is particularly sad on Wednesdays, while he is happy on Mondays and Fridays. The most upsetting part is that this school is expensive, yet my son is being compared to other children and made to feel inadequate. When we got home, he asked me, “Mommy, is it true that Milo doesn’t know anything?” This broke my heart.
I hope the school can focus on helping my child instead of comparing him to others and putting him down. Thank you.
