  Kindercare in Ashland was our top choice center as we prepared for our baby girl. As first time parents they welcomed us with an orientation and from the minute we stepped into the infant classroom on Orientation Day, we were greeted with friendly smiles willing to guide us through these formative months and years of our daughter’s life. On Orientation Day and in the first months, we asked many questions and wrote many messages over the Kindercare app checking on our daughter’s day. As true educators there was no question “too dumb” or “out of line” because they always answered promptly with great detail which let us know all of her teachers and the directors (Miss Frances and Miss Leslie) knew how our daughter’s day was going. Every morning Miss Leslie greets our daughter with a genuine smile and hug; she treats our daughter as if she is her own which is what every first time parent wants in their daycare center as they leave their baby for the first time. The details provided through the Kindercare app give us peace of mind that we can track how she is doing throughout the day with her bottles, diapers, notes and pictures sent right to our phones. It is evident that her teachers have diverse experience and background knowledge that help create a safe learning space for her to explore her world and take those developmental leaps such as rolling and babbling in infancy. Her teachers really listen to us when we are asked what we wanted her goals to be and are helping her achieve those goals. We can’t wait to see what Kindercare has in store as she continues to grow through their classrooms and curriculum.

  We honestly couldn’t be happier with this daycare. The staff is so kind and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about the kids. Both Frances and Leslie are both amazing, they’re super approachable, always communicating, and very involved. We checked out other places, including The Learning Experience, but this one just felt different in the best way. It feels personal, not corporate. Most importantly, my child loves it here and is always excited to go! which makes drop-offs so much easier. We’re really grateful we found this place and would recommend it to any parent. Knowing that my child is in a place where they feel safe and valued is incredibly reassuring.   We’ve been so happy with the Ashland Kindercare, and our 2 little boys like it too! We’ve really appreciated the flexibility, and it’s so clear that everyone who works there loves our boys and cares about understanding them too.

  The communication of the people who work at this facility is unreliable. I was hopeful when I heard back from Sara immediately after submitting an inquiry for a tour. The tour was nice enough that we wanted to put our infant on the wait list. However, we had some remaining questions and the Director, Janet, was on vacation. I never heard back from Sara after she assured me she's get us answers and follow up once Janet returned, so I emailed her. Never heard back. Months later I emailed her again. No response. I was lucky enough to have an email about enrollment from Janice, the regional director, so I emailed her. She responded and got me in touch with Janet. Janet responded to me with a question. I answered the question and asked one of my own. No response. I emailed again a few days later. No response. Maybe she was on vacation again, but then I'd expect either someone else to cover her emails or to get an automated vacation response. I would never trust my child to be under the care of such an unresponsive facility. It's unfortunate because I did like the facility and the teachers, but customer service is just too lacking.
