We have been pleased to attend this daycare for the past year and 3 months. Our son started when he was just an infant, and it was a harrowing experience trying to figure out a place that I trusted to take care of him. I often see people speak disparagingly of “corporate” daycares, but Klondike KinderCare has felt like a great mix of the big daycares (dependability, flexible drop off times, oversight, accreditation) along with a small daycare feel. The admin team—Catherine, Jordan, Emily—do such a wonderful job of planning fun family and kid activities and being available to answer any and all questions and address my first-time mom concerns. My son has loved so many of the teachers here in the infant and toddler rooms—Ms. Emilee, Ms. Halima, Ms. Myshawna, Ms. Suzanne. I’m sure there are many others who have helped him grow into the little kid he is but they are the ones I had the pleasure of interacting with the most. Two things I really appreciated about this daycare: 1) A clear curriculum for the kids, and 2) The expectation that infants will have open floor play and not be kept in containers all day. I originally chose a different daycare and then a month before we started I had qualms and enrolled my son here instead. It was the right decision.

"I am incredibly grateful to KinderCare for the wonderful care and support they provide for my child. The staff are always attentive, nurturing, and create a warm environment where I feel completely at ease knowing my child is in such good hands. It’s reassuring to see my child happy and excited to go each day. Thank you, KinderCare, for the peace of mind and for being such a positive influence in my child's early development!"

We love Klondike KinderCare! After looking at numerous childcare facilities throughout Louisville, we happily chose Klondike KinderCare (KKC) as our child’s home away from home while her Dad and I work. Immediately, we realized that KKC was more than a daycare, but rather a center with a structured preschool setting that includes teaching & learning, playtime, and exercise with experienced childcare educators who value child development, safety, patience and respect for all of kids.
We are grateful to Catherine, Jordan, and Emily who run KKC impeccably through organization of classrooms, students and teachers; pure love and dedication to their careers; cleanliness of the school; and open communication with parents and caretakers. Not only are they always available as soon as you walk in the door to answer questions about the school, but they’ve also offered helpful parenting advice for the home. As long as these three remain at KKC, we feel confident in our child’s well-being at preschool.
In addition, we cannot thank our daughter’s teachers enough for all of the attention, love, and support given to her throughout the day. Kenzie is a fantastic teacher who exudes a sense of calmness. Our daughter absolutely loves Myshawna; she’s her little helper, and they always share high-fives, hugs and laughs. We appreciate the games and lessons Suzanne incorporates throughout the day, always keeping the tots engaged. We love how much Patience adores all of the kiddos and how she holds our daughter every morning. Cheryl has just as much energy as the littles, and can somehow meet all of their needs without missing a beat! All of the teachers greet London by name in the morning, and say bye to her in the afternoon. There’s definitely a sense of community and family.
We cannot emphasize enough how grateful we are for KKC! The daily logs, messages, focused attention on our child’s well-being, education, growth and happiness continue to confirm our choice in choosing Klondike for our daughter’s preschool and daycare. Thank you to everyone!!

I cannot stress to you enough how much Kindercare is "worth it". We have tried a couple of other lower cost area daycares and found out the hard way that "you get what you pay for". Kindercare staff are warm, friendly, and accommodating. They are intentionally inclusive and cater to neurodivergence, dietary restrictions, different types of families, and even cloth diapering.
They're family to us and I know they love and care about my kids. I used to think that I didn't want a "corporate" daycare/preschool but I found out that I deeply appreciate the accountability and accreditation standards they are held to at a national level.
They also keep developmental profiles on each child and do assessments on a regular basis, which include setting developmentally appropriate goals (fine/gross motor skills, language, etc). It is next level and the benchmark by which I hold all other centers in the area (and they don't measure up, promise!). I essentially did a "background check" on every daycare in Hikes Point (looking at complaints filed to state) and Kindercare has PERFECT scores. Anything they've been reported for has never been substantiated.
As a parent, it's so hard to find someone you trust to take care of your children, let alone an entire staff of people you trust. I have an incredible sense of peace knowing my kids are safe and loved and growing socially, mentally, and physically at Kindercare. I could not recommend them more.
