  I am writing to express concern about the safety of children at Kinder Care, located at 3199 Custer Drive, Lexington, KY. At approximately 10:45 am, I witnessed four toddlers, aged 2-4, unsupervised in the road. The teacher appeared distracted despite having a large class outside. I am alarmed that the facility's fences, equipped with locks to prevent escape, were ineffective. I immediately contacted the school and law enforcement. I urge parents who entrust their children to this daycare to reconsider, as this incident highlights a disturbing lapse in supervision. The children's safety was compromised, and they were at risk of being struck by an oncoming truck that I had to stop. I implore parents to be vigilant and ensure their children's well-being.   For the most part I like this daycare. There are things I would like to see changed, like if you take my 2 year old outside please give him cold water to drink and take breaks, be mindful of diapers changes, and I'd like teachers to stay off there phone and interact with the kids. Empress is the best person there and she's leaving, which means we have no one in the office that cares now. The director ignores issues and doesn't even speak. It's frustrating to be snubbed by the woman in charge of your son's care while your at work. But I've had Empress so I felt we were in great hands. I will say that I appreciate the app because I get pictures and updates thru out the day. And I appreciate the ladies in the am and pm that speak to me. It's tough picking up your kid and the teacher ignores you. Communication is key.

  My kids have been going here 2 weeks and I picked my son up the other day and there where 2kids fighting and slamming eachothers head against the doors and the teacher laughed about it and they got mad because my son got sick there... You can't help that your kids get sick... And my daughter has to use a breathing treatment and when I took it for her to use there they said she could because I needed a slip saying she could and I was never told that before hand so she kept missing treatments.... And their not on a schedule... Breakfast is pose to be at 8 but the would eat at like 7:30 and its not fair to other kids if they eat early... They ate just not ran right
