  I am writing to express concern about the safety of children at Kinder Care, located at 3199 Custer Drive, Lexington, KY. At approximately 10:45 am, I witnessed four toddlers, aged 2-4, unsupervised in the road. The teacher appeared distracted despite having a large class outside. I am alarmed that the facility's fences, equipped with locks to prevent escape, were ineffective. I immediately contacted the school and law enforcement. I urge parents who entrust their children to this daycare to reconsider, as this incident highlights a disturbing lapse in supervision. The children's safety was compromised, and they were at risk of being struck by an oncoming truck that I had to stop. I implore parents to be vigilant and ensure their children's well-being.   BEST DAYCARE AROUND! The teachers are so amazing, and happy. Ms. Pam, Ms. Megan, and Ms. Melinda run this location like an absolute dream. They genuinely care about the kids, and their families, and are completely invested. It isn't just an 8-5 job, they come in extra early and leave late to ensure the kids are getting a wonderful education. My daughter is constantly asking to go see her teachers or directors. She loves going to school there. She also learns so much, I never imagined sending my little one to daycare would teach her so much. She's happy there, it's worth the cost, cheaper than several other daycares in the area. It is a well-oiled machine, and my daughter won't go anywhere else until it's time for her to enter kindergarten. Thank you for caring for our kids the way you do!

  My children loved the staff and teachers. Every time I picked them up they were having fun. I can tell the staff enjoy teaching children and what they do; the environment reflects that fact. If you can afford it, bring your children here and rest assured your children are being well cared for and well taught. Despite my 5 star review, there is an aspect of KinderCare I did not like. They force you to pay for services you do not use. For example, if you go on vacation you are still expected to pay a "reservation" fee. When I brought up the fact that they are charging people for services not rendered I was told that it's a corporate policy and nothing could be done about it. I do not like people hiding behind corporations and using that as an excuse to treat people poorly. They should only charge for services rendered. I didn't think that was a novel concept in 2018 but there it is. My kids love the place though so I swallowed the pill for their sake, but I wish they would treat people how they surely expect to be treated when they are wearing the consumer shoes.

  Great Staff My Grandson has been going to this location for over a year. The staff and teachers are wonderful. The environment is caring and he learns something new everyday!
