  Went there today to look for a place for daughter and was discriminate and prejudice against me for being a male and a minority. Was a terrible experience I would never give a single penny to this location. people there were rude

  Today I was leaving the parking lot that is right next to the Kindercare fenced in outdoor play area and heard a lot of yelling. As I was pulling out I noticed the yelling was coming from the Kindercare playground. The adult woman who was taking care of the children, who looked to be around 3 years old, was yelling at them to get in line. As the children were lining up she continued to yell at them for not being in the right order. She began grabbing them by their arms and yanking them in line where she wanted them to stand as she continued yelling. Once they were lined up where she wanted them they proceeded to follow her as she walked backwards watching them. One child reached out and touched the bike as they were walking by, this lady took the cup she had in her hand and popped this child on top of the head with it. I was sickened and appalled watching this. I called the district office and they promptly called me back and assured me that this was going to be handled. I hope this reaches parents who currently have their children enrolled in their care. Please do surprise check ins, or just sit in the parking lot and follow the yelling.

  Our son has been going here since he was 10 weeks old, and he loves it. The teachers and helpers are very nice and genuinely care for him. The director and her assistant are always responsive to any questions or concerns. Great place!

  I'm not a review person and this is my first ever review because when it comes to babies I cannot ignore. Please if u trust on reviews  don't ever think to put your baby in shawnee kindercare. One day I gave a sudden surprise visit to kinder care  and I see the caretaker was very rough with my 1yr old while cleaning his face and carried him by his chest under her arms and threw him on his bed as it was the nap time. I could tell she had lost her temper and showing it on my son . I caught her right there and yelled. She panicked. She had guilty written all over her face. The management gave the reason saying sorry it was her bad day. This was second time she did first day I saw her doing with other kids as well. I removed my baby and director also was very rude and did not acknowledge my issue. Please if your baby is in that daycare try to give surprise visit and check it out. This could impact the baby in a bad way.
