  My husband and I recently toured Springmill KinderCare, and unfortunately, our experience left us with several concerns. When we arrived, the parking lot was almost empty, which made us question whether the center was even open. Inside, the office lights were off, and the halls felt unusually quiet and empty. After waiting for a few minutes, a staff member came out to greet us and mentioned that she was one of the teachers. While I don’t usually judge based on appearance, her presentation came across as unprofessional — her uniform was noticeably unkempt, and there was a strong body odor. It gave us pause, especially considering the level of care and hygiene expected in an early childhood setting. When we asked about the center’s management, we were told that they are currently without a Director and that the Assistant Director had recently left unexpectedly. The lack of management in place made us feel uneasy about the stability and oversight of the center. While the teacher who gave the tour tried her best to answer our questions, the overall experience did not give us confidence that this would be the right environment for our child. We truly hope the center can address these concerns, as first impressions matter greatly when it comes to trusting someone with your little one’s care.

  I sent my daughter in when she was 6 months old. It was her first time to be away from me. I was nervous about my decision because l learned that the center was experiencing staffing changes and I cannot anticipate what it means to my daughter. I chose to keep positive and assumed time would tell if I made a good decision. I want to shout out to Ms Cherrie and Mr Elijah! Ms Cherrie’s gentle, calm and patient demeanor makes me believe that my daughter is in good hands! And the center director, Mr. Elijah, his inspiring energy and hardworking definitely bright up the whole center. I hope the center receives more recognition day by day :)!

  I have been sending my kids to this location for over 4 years now. The director Mr. Elijah truly loves his job and cares about the kids. He is a true baby whisperer. Ms. Monica had been with my kids for a few years now in different classrooms and she is a great teacher. They have been working hard to keep a regular staff with several of the staff being there for over a year. My kids always come home and tell us all the fun things they did and learned that day.

  My daughter has been at this daycare for almost a year now and we enjoy it! We went through a phase where we had a director leave and we got a new one and we had turn over on teachers. I was honestly worried for a little bit but we stuck it out! Mr. Elijah is great! He has brought on some wonderful new teachers and staff. He has really turned it around in the last few months! He has been very organized and well communicative with the parents. My daughter enjoys going to this school. We enjoy Miss. Monica who has been with my daughter since day 1. I am so excited to see my daughter continue to learn and meet her milestones here!

  My daughter has been going here since July 2023 and we couldn't be happier with our decision to send her here. Ms. Tori and her staff are so friendly, kind, and professional. Every time we drop her off she runs to her classroom and is so excited to see her teacher and friends. Just seeing how much she loves coming here let's us know she is in good hands while we are at work. I highly recommend this center!
