- DGdionna goldenJun 4, 20241.0I was looking for a daycare for my children to attend and this one happens to be the closest to our home. When I spoke on the phone with the director things were great she offered to schedule a tour for me and my son which I happily agreed to. However when I arrived in person the way the teachers looked at me as if they saw a ghost or I didn’t belong there was really rude and troubling. The director finally came and let me in but was now hesitant and about giving me further information and even letting me tour the facility. I then informed her that my oldest is autistic which is when I could feel yet another shift in energy as if she rather not deal with him. She AGAIN OFFERED to let him do an experimental 2 hours today. When we showed up TWO teachers looked directly at us waiting outside the locked door and said nothing, nor did they inform someone that we were there I rang the bell maybe three or 4 times. Three parents came and went while we stood waiting. I then decided to leave since it was so unwelcoming. It’s been three hours the director has not reached out to try to correct the issue.
