  We love Mundelein Kindercare! The teams for the infant and toddler classrooms are the best and Ashley is always prompt and thorough with any needs. The app helps us feel well-aware of activities throughout the day. Our daughter’s vocabulary continues to grow daily, and we’ve been impressed with their structure throughout the day and curriculum. We lean heavily on the team at Kindercare because we don’t have any family in the area. Our daughter attends 3 days weekly, but they have always been accommodating when we’ve needed to add in an additional day for “drop-in” care.

  The entire staff has been so instrumental in my son’s growth and development. We have been so grateful in how much care they put into their classrooms and kiddos. I couldn’t speak more highly of the Mundelein KinderCare.

  We love the team at the Mundelein Kindercare and feel that our little ones are loved, well cared for, and safe. The team at Kindercare has taken every precaution to keep the center clean and safe throughout the pandemic and does a great job keeping families informed.

  My two boys have already been with Mundelein KinderCare over 2 years. I can still remember our first meeting with Jessica, director of the center. It was Nov 2016 our family moved from Texas to Chicago area. With no friend, no connection, only a new job/new lease in this area, we spoke with 3 centers in one day for a 8 month baby and 2.5 years old toddler. Jessica was the magic lady we spoke 10 mins walking through the center, we knew exactly where we wanted to send the boys in. She's a great listener who can read our mind, and offers exactly what we needed. For the first week, I was a bit concern of the baby's transition. I remembered almost every night we picked him up, he was so peacefully in his teacher, another Ms. Jessica's arm. The super patience and care she gave made an amazingly smooth transition for the baby. My 2.5 years old started from discovery preschool class. In terms of language and social skills, he was behind comparing to peer group. The two years he spent in KinderCare was a turnaround story. Starting from barely nothing to express himself (not able to), he is much more fluent in talking and confidently expressing himself. Thanks to Ms. Michelle and Ms. Ashley in preschool and Phonics class! Literally every time we met at pick up time, the ladies shared me very constructive feedbacks on my elder one's development (he needs a lot at that time!). In addition to language, he has also built up many skills taking care of himself. Now I constantly heard him saying: let me do it. Also can't forget Ms. Lizzy (she just left and we miss her). Took us one week for my boy said goodbye to his old diaper friend for the rest of his life. One of our favorite surprises: when our baby became 1.5 years old, he started talk so many things. For a few weeks, I was totally impressed at home that he liked pointing out literally everything from his books and told me what that was. Then I found out why (definitely not me or my husband. We knew how lay-back we were at home :)). He enjoyed Ms. Breana's (I've called her a wrong name for almost year. Forgive me!) story book reading so much every day and asked questions on everything. Last but not least, Mr. Manny: The best singer among chefs and the best chefs among singers. I can't remember how many times I heard this at home: "Mama. Can you make banana bread? I love it. It's so delicious. Mr. Manny made banana bread. Mr. Manny is the best chef!" All journeys come to an end. This year my elder one is turning kindergarten age. And logistically, we just have to make a hard decision to move the other one to a different place closer to his brother's school. This is probably the most enjoyable review I ever wrote simply going over the great experiences. I can probably write another page of the fun experience of fall/winter fair, dance, yoga, beautiful projects, and cooking class! Gosh. Can't describe how sweet my baby brought me those super yammy pink heart crunchies/cookies every Fri night he made. We were so lucky to have Mundelein Kindercare in the community. A lot of memorable and precious experience our family had. I'd better stop here and leave it for everyone else to discover. We love you all!
