We had such a wonderful experience at Primrose School of Smyrna West. My only regret is not enrolling my son sooner so he could have had more time with his amazing teachers, friends, and the caring staff. The love and attention they showed, along with how much he learned and grew, truly exceeded our expectations. We are forever grateful for the foundation they’ve given him and highly recommend Primrose Smyrna West to any family.

As a first time mom, the process of choosing a daycare and adjusting to having our little one there was daunting. I am so glad we chose Primrose. I appreciate the professionalism, the open communication, and the warmth and care from the teachers.

We had a wonderful experience at Primrose School of Smyrna West. The teachers were incredibly caring, and the entire staff was always attentive and genuinely cordial. Our daughters absolutely loved going there, which gave us tremendous peace of mind each day. While it’s not the cheapest option, the quality of care, communication, and overall environment make it well worth the investment. You truly get what you pay for!

I originally gave Primrose a glowing review in 2023 when my eldest daughter attended, but unfortunately in 2025 I'm going to have to retract my 5 star review. I pre-registered my youngest daughter for the 2025/ /2026 school year in February 2025 and paid the deposit in April 2025. However I never received paperwork. I emailed Ms. Nash several times and she kept telling me it would come in the mail. It did not. When I went to the meet and greet about a week before school started, my daughter was not placed in a classroom. She did not have a seat, a backpack, or supplies ready. Additionally, her name was spelled incorrectly. I corrected her name with Miss Nash at the meet and greet and made sure the registration paperwork and Procare app had my daughter's name listed correctly. It was at this point that I was already having a bad feeling about enrolling my daughter at Primrose. On the first day of school all of my daughter's things were STILL tagged with the wrong name and she was called the wrong name all day despite her telling the teachers her correct name. I emailed Miss Nash and she didn't reply. It was only taken care of when Miss Odom reached out. When I reached out and emailed Miss Nash about my concerns, she would not reply. Not only would she not reply, but for the rest of the time my daughter was enrolled, she gave me the cold shoulder. She did not make me feel welcomed. Everyone else at the front desk, Miss Odom, in particular, were extremely friendly and welcoming though. Her teacher Miss Chapman (who was also my eldest daughter's teacher) was also just as great as I remembered. The final straw for me was when my daughter fell at school. I understand accidents happen. However, I did not receive an incident report. I only received a brief message on Procare. The message did not stress how serious the injury was or how my daughter was feeling. At no point did the school call me and tell me that my daughter was actively bleeding and limping. Nobody cleaned or bandaged my daughter's wound. They didn't even give her ice. They didn't even change her out of the ripped pants into the extra set of clothing we are required to provide. Additionally, Mrs. Nash once again, did NOT respond to the email my husband sent about the incident. The level of thoughtfulness and care that used to be present at Primrose are no longer. I am not sure if it is the staff changes or management issue, but the school is extremely disorganized. I can no longer in good faith recommend the school.

We have one child that currently goes to Primrose Smyrna West and one that has graduated. My wife and I are so impressed with the teachers, management team, and the overall school in general. From the very friendly welcomes in the morning by staff members to knowing our child is in a very safe and nurturing environment is exactly what we want as parents. Our son actually cries when he has to leave in the afternoon because he does not want to leave his teachers and friends. Additionally, having three (3) teachers in each classroom brings the ratios down for more small group interaction. Other schools cannot say this about their teachers/classrooms We love this school and most importantly so does our son. We know there is not another childcare comparison in the market because we checked them out.
