Primrose School of Duluth West is an accredited daycare located in the Duluth area that offers infant, toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We toured 5 or 6 daycares in the area looking for the right fit for our daughter. We’re so glad someone mentioned Primrose in Duluth to us. It is absolutely the best decision we made. We love the infant teachers Ms. Maria and Ms. J. They are so patient with the babies and our baby is always excited to show us the new skills she learns in school. Even though there is no video surveillance parents have access to, we felt it was not needed once we got a chance to meet the teachers during our tour. The admin is communicative about what’s going on and the teachers send us updates through the ProCare app. Things are kept clean, we love the emphasis on washing the babies’ hands when their diapers are changed, and the tuition amount is fair. Thank you so much for all you do for the families you serve. We are grateful for our experience here. We moved and so had to switch baby to another daycare because the distance was now too long but we’re so thankful for Ms. Maria and the way she loves our baby.

Parents should be able to drop their children off and not have to concern themselves if they are being properly cared for.. Primrose of Duluth provides that. There’s no substitute for freedom of mind when it comes to a child’s school. I have two that have attended Primrose for a little over a year now and they absolutely love it.. as do I. The kiddos have made made huge progressions scholastically and socially. I have all the confidence in the world that they are getting them ready for kindergarten

My daughters have been attending Primrose Duluth West for three years now. While there has been staff change, and we were sad to see some staff leave, the new staff that has come in has been excellent. As a former childcare worker, I’ve seen the good and the bad, so finding childcare I could trust for my daughters wasn’t a simple task. I’ve learned a few things over the years - visit when they’re busy, call to check on your children, take the time to talk to the staff and get to know them and their expectations for the classroom, etc. My oldest was a preemie and my expectations for childcare were as high as possible given maternity leave was only for so long. She is now three and has been attending since she was 3 months old, but two months by preemie standards. You should see for yourself how smart she is now. She’s learned so much during her time at PDW. She loves her teachers, and loves the director and owner. My youngest began at six months during Covid and we were thrilled that she had one of my oldest’s former teachers as well. Covid hasn’t been easy, but the school has been more than transparent with us. We understand having to pay when kids have to be out. The staff has to get paid - this isn’t a restaurant, so it isn’t a shuffling of tables in and out. Sure, it stinks, but we don’t want to lose the staff we have there - trust me. There has been a Covid positive case in one of my daughter’s classrooms and both of my daughters had to be home. The staff checked in with us often. That’s not something you’re going to get just anywhere. They have a business to run and have been more than understanding with our worries on top of their worries. My girls have made memories and best friends there. Have I mentioned the hire of the new director? She’s incredible. She has a background of teaching excellence and she took the time to get to know us as she started, remembering little things, and making sure to provide us updates for classroom items. This is hands down the best school within several miles. I’ve recommended several parents here and helped with a teacher getting hired. Primrose Duluth West is worth it. Feel free to ask me.

Our almost 2 year old has been attending this wonderful school for a little over 3 months now and my husband & I couldn’t be happier with the quality of care & education provided by this amazing facility. Normally, it takes our little one a while to warm up to new people but by the 3rd day of attending this school, he was reaching for Mrs. Morgan & Ms. Chris by the time we got to the front door. And based on all of the pictures we receive, I can tell that he is having a great time in Mrs. Carter’s class. Even with going through a pandemic, the staff here has still managed to provide a warm and fun environment for the children while keeping everyone safe. I truly appreciate the measures they take in order to combat the spread of COVID-19. All in all, I would highly recommend this school to all parents out there who are looking for a quality place to entrust their kids to. Thank you for all that y’all do, Primose School of Duluth West! - The Williams
