Very dismissive, doesnt take accountability. Rectifying a situation is non existent. This day and age, its also very odd NOT to have any cameras installed AND recording, especially in this sort of setting. There are a few teachers who are attentive but the vast majority are not, especially in the ones classroom, example: walked in to pick my son up, looked to the left and there was 2 toddlers fighting, while one was literally crying saying help, while the other (showed prior aggressive behavior) was kicking, throwing arms etc, one teacher was changing a diaper and the other was off in lala land. I was like heyyyyy come get these kids!! Unacceptable, they dont redirect, they talk to them like adults and expect change from just that. As if they have the cognitive thinking as we do?!?!? The director sells a false sense of security when it comes to watching the kids and their safety, especially from each other! If you are looking for a daycare/school, id pass on this one! I also can only speak about the infant to 1-2 age classroom because i pulled my son couple months in that classroom, it became unsafe and very very hard to trust any teacher in that classroom and director. The older ones might be better but if lower aged classes ARE NOT solid, i dont expect the other ones to be. OUR KIDS NEED TO BE SAFE, this was not that.

I have a close friend that has a baby who attends this daycare. She is pleased with the care but I have concerns about the cleanliness. What is the protocol for disinfecting toys and surfaces for germs. Her child is always getting sick. I understand that children get sick but there needs to be something done to help stop the spread of these germs to control spreading. Toys and equipment that are shared by children should be disinfected daily for these babies

I am a father of twin boys that grew up in KinderCare on Merritt island. We started them there when they were 2 years old. Then, Miss Cindy was their teacher and they thrived and thrived, learning colors and shapes.. at 3, they moved into Miss Jackie’s where their learning exploded! They teach curriculum early on so that when they get Into Vpk or preschool, they were way ahead of other kids. They learned so much in the 3 years they spent there. The center director Jennifer is with a lack of a better term, a hero! She runs an amazing center. Learning being number one priority, but she also celebrates children’s birthdays with their pictures and birthdays on the wall as you come Into the lobby of the center. Many times i had come Into pick up the boys they would be celebrating events from birthdays to holidays, black history month and etc. the center from what I could always tell was a very clean and tidy place. Never worried about my boys being there. They also were clean at pick. Early on they would have clean diapers on and clothes changed if they were dirty from food or playing. Faces and hands always washed when we picked them up. Over all, 10 out of 10 stars from me and my family. No regrets raising our boys in KinderCare, we would do it all over again. Thank you KinderCare family!

Little to no incident reports is sad. This is really upsetting. I’m sure I’ll get the whole speech similar too… “This isn’t who we are” “we hold our staff to better standards” “We are very interested in speaking” but they don’t ACTUALLY Care. Staff get numerous chances and kids don’t deserve to be around bad people who keep getting chances to fail kids over and over again. But I’m sure it’s “Just a bad day” or something right? They do not ever hold themselves accountable. Only verbally out loud and once. Never an actual “we were wrong this time and messed up. let’s fix this” nope

Late staff, Always ordering coffee, Olive Garden or sweets for staff everytime, it’s always something for the adults and not the kids. Lack of incident reports, When the kids go on the playground and if the teacher forgets something, they will send the 2nd teacher back inside to grab it (leaves children only attended with 1 teacher) Oh and in the infant room if your baby is crying on the floor a older staff lady likes to say “she’s just like that, I’m with another baby right now” I don’t even think this place is woman owned? Probably a guy. Also how do we know if they are deleting the pictures they take of our kids?…. They don’t show proof!
