- CSconnie sandsOct 14, 20231.0Visited prior to enrolling kids - no cameras in the building at all. Too many children for the adults to keep up with. Preschool room had kids screaming and wrestling for a toy on the floor that went unnoticed. The teacher was helping another screaming child at the time while the other, who was in and out throughout the morning, was taking photos of other kids (easily misleading I’d say). Another boy was chewing on a toy and kicking a girl in the stomach while she was trying to read - when she yelled at him to stop she was told to not use those words and go read somewhere else to give him space. That boy should have been in time out and a call home - I’m assuming the teacher just didn’t see/understand the situation because the place was a madhouse. A 4 year old walked up to me and screamed “ahh” in my face because other kids were talking to me and I guess he was jealous… idk. Sick kids EVERYWHERE. The ladies with the younger kids look desperate for help - very little structure or education happening, just wild toddlers running (and puking and sneezing thick mucus and coughing) all over the place. The teachers were all nice and seemed to be doing their best, but need some help handling the kids - especially the sick/ mean ones. I understand it’s a daycare, but the preschool portion at least should be held to a higher standard.
