Very good school. My daughter is enrolled in the VPK program and loves going to school. I was the mom that was unsure about enrolling my child into VPK but decided to try it out to prepare her for kindergarten. It turned out to be the best decision. This school has taught her so much!! They not only focus on academics like writing, math, science, art, Spanish, but have also taught her valuable life lessons like kindness, giving, patience.

When my 4 year old came home and informed me he learned that "some kids have two daddys" at school from his teacher, trust was broken. When I followed up and learned a book normalizing homosexuality and divorce is being read to my 4 year old under the facade of "inclusivity & diversity", trust was completely lost. We enrolled our son in this program with the hope that he would be nurtured in an age-appropriate environment for just three hours a day. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust that this organization respects boundaries. If this is what came to light only because my son spoke up, I’m left wondering: what else might be happening that parents aren’t aware of? Perhaps nothing. But that’s why trust matters. Hopefully this incident leads to policy & practice reform at Primrose. Parents entrust you with their most precious gift. That trust should never be taken for granted.

Primrose on Fleming Island has been the best introduction to school for my girls! The teachers are highly qualified and care for the children like their own. My upcoming kindergarten has developed and grown so much during this past year in VPK. Communication is great. The school environment is amazing. Positive traits are not only taught but celebrated by learning through fun animal characters. The school also puts on philanthropy events where they give back to the community. The kids understand how they can contribute and help those in need. We love the Primrose family!

When making the decision on where to send our three year old we took the process extremely seriously. After touring several schools in the area it was apparent that Primrose would be where we would call home. No school comes close to what Primrose offers; a safe learning environment that feels like home. Beginning preschool in 2020 with the uncertainly of COVID-19 and what sending our daughter to school would look like, I can’t imagine her being anywhere else! Not only does Primrose take every precaution to keep children, teachers and staff safe and healthy, the school is keeping you updated and connecting virtually through all mediums to still create a sense of community and togetherness despite such unique circumstances. We could not be happier!
