When my 4 year old came home and informed me he learned that "some kids have two daddys" at school from his teacher, trust was broken. When I followed up and learned a book normalizing homosexuality and divorce is being read to my 4 year old under the facade of "inclusivity & diversity", trust was completely lost. We enrolled our son in this program with the hope that he would be nurtured in an age-appropriate environment for just three hours a day. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust that this organization respects boundaries. If this is what came to light only because my son spoke up, I’m left wondering: what else might be happening that parents aren’t aware of? Perhaps nothing. But that’s why trust matters. Hopefully this incident leads to policy & practice reform at Primrose. Parents entrust you with their most precious gift. That trust should never be taken for granted.

My son switched to Primrose from another preschool in Fleming Island. He has only been in their VPK program for a few weeks, but my husband and I are so impressed in his teachers and all the organization. All the staff is friendly and my son is happy to be at school. They also provide lunches for them and have a carpool pickup line. Both very nice pluses!

My daughter has been injured by the same little boy in her VPK class three times this year. So far Primrose has done nothing to remove him from the school. We were told that an action plan is in place. We are going to have a meeting this morning to discuss our options in demand that this little boy be removed from school since he is violent toward other children. I think it is the responsibility of the school to provide my child a safe place to learn Primrose has absolutely failed in doing that. We really like our teachers and feel that our child is learning but we do not feel that she is safe going to the school. When Primrose does something about this I will remove this post until then I will leave it up.
