My husband and I enrolled our daughter at KinderCare when she was about four months old. Initially, everything seemed fine, but over time I began noticing concerning things when picking her up. On several occasions her face would be bright red and it was clear she had been crying. Each time I asked about it, the teachers in the infant room would say she had just started crying or that they had just put her down, implying she had not been upset for very long. A few months later, however, a KinderCare staff member privately pulled me aside and shared information that was extremely troubling. I was told that my daughter was frequently left to cry for extended periods of time without anyone coming to comfort her. I was also told about an incident where, after my daughter woke up from a nap, an assistant teacher placed her on her lap and put a towel over her head in an attempt to get her to go back to sleep—even though she had just woken up. As a parent, hearing that your infant is being left to cry for long periods of time and essentially crying herself to sleep is deeply upsetting. The idea that something could be placed over a baby’s face is also a serious safety concern. While I understand that infant rooms can be busy and teachers must care for multiple children, leaving a baby unattended while crying for extended periods of time is unacceptable. Once this information was brought to our attention, my husband and I immediately withdrew our daughter from the center. Parents trust daycare providers to care for their children with attention, compassion, and basic safety. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect that level of care.

I went through the entire application process for my son, and after I informed them that he is autistic, they continued to push me to complete the application instead of being upfront about whether they could actually accommodate him. Rather than being honest, I was given an excuse and the call was abruptly ended, which felt very disrespectful. People who work with children—especially children with special needs—should be transparent and respectful with parents. I’m honestly relieved my son was not placed here, because this interaction raised serious concerns about how he might have been treated.

FIVE STARS!!! I cannot speak highly enough of Kindercare Boynton Beach! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the cleanliness & decorations of the facility from top to bottom. Silbrina, the director, is a wonderful leader - friendly, outgoing, and such a fantastic contact for our teacher training. What truly sets this school apart is their commitment to ongoing staff development. We had the pleasure of conducting a "THEATRICAL TACTICS IN THE PRESCHOOL CLASSROOM" workshop. For an hour and a half, the teachers participated in acting games, circle games, warm-ups, and crossing games. Their engagement and passion were evident throughout. The teachers at Kindercare Boynton Beach are not only a lot of fun but also form a great team that genuinely cares about young children. Parents should know that this school invests in creative staff training programs like Play-Ground Theatre/Keep It Positive for Kids, which directly benefits their children's learning experience. We deeply appreciate their dedication to the kids of this community. Additionally we recognize Silbrina as an outstanding leader, she is positive and fun to be with which is crucial to a successful school environment. I wholeheartedly recommend Kindercare Boynton Beach to any parent looking for early childhood education.
