We love Paxson lane KinderCare! My daughter has been going there since she was almost 2. It’s going to be biter sweet when she graduates out of KinderCare this year and starts kindergarten. Ms Aaida, Ms. Giana and Ms. Carolyn are such amazing teachers. The directors, Ms Irene and Ms Susan are extremely pleasant to deal with. My daughter asks us to drop her off early on most days so she can get her fun day started at KinderCare. She absolutely loves it there!!

I moved my son out of a daycare to attend Paxton Kindercare and as a mother you always worry if you made the right decision. Well, my 2.5 year old just finished his first week and we (him, myself and my husband) couldn't be happier with our decision. Kindercare offers great healthy meals, has pottys in the room to teach them to use the potty, great lesson plans, wonderful caring teachers and the app is superb. The gym room is wonderful for the days they cant get outside to play to spice up their day and the fish in the lobby is adorable. A waitlist for this place is justifiable- so get on the list ASAP.

We love our Kindercare. My son started there part time when he was 2. Now at the age of almost 4, he has grown so much with the help of his teachers and staff. I love getting the pictures, and updates about his day while I'm away from him. He is learning and making friends. I can't stand enough about how friendly and engaging the staff is - any concerns are addressed right away. There is always something new to learn and to do. We are loving the summer program.

They are awesome! The whole staff seems to really care about what they're doing. Everyone knows all the kids' names. I feel 1000% confident and safe in trusting my child to their care. My son is there for pre-kindergarten, and I wish he could go there for the rest of his schooling. Ms. Carolyn is the best! Ms. Irene and Ms. Susan are wonderful and communicative administrators. Ms. Jane has the coolest grandma vibes while she's feeding everybody. I haven't met a single person there that I didn't like.

If there were more stars, these guys would deserve them. This place stood out for me for a variety of reasons when I first moved to Delaware a couple years ago, and they stand out for even more reasons today. My daughter loves it there, we both feel safe and cared for and the communication is always there. In no particular order: SCHEDULING THE YEAR: Flexibility with scheduling for school holidays and closures - home care providers are not always consistently available for half days, days off, snow days. They're open when schools close..and their communication about it is typically ahead of the school districts. BUS: They have their own transportation. They drive safely, only to-from school and facility (never to stop to run errands) and they would never leave the kids in a car if they need to step into the school. (Yes, I had one kid not in Kindercare and I learned a lot about what I don't want.) They pick up the kids when there's inclement weather so I don't have to leave work abruptly. ADULTS: They are all adults, though yes some look young. But importantly, they are not college kids looking for experience. Management operates like a team, teachers are professional with each other as well as the kids. FOOD: They provide the food and snacks prepared in their kitchen. Just makes it easier, in my opinion. SAFETY : There's key-code locks to access the kid areas. The playground area is their own, not shared. No kid can exit the grounds on their own, no parent can casually walk out a kid if they are not an adult on file. The teachers know the parents who pick up the kids or they are asking for ID. FACILITY : They serve all ages from baby to probably 6th grade (I think?) and there's toys for all ages. The facility is highly structured and rooms are designed to be age specific; it's not a huge maze of a place, it's organized. HOMEWORK: If you want your kid to do homework there, they will. And the teachers will actually help them. CLEAN : They work with kids all day and they are constantly cleaning up, asking kids to help keep organized (and the kids do!!!). We know our kids are messy, but they do a great job managing the madness. They clean the toys regularly. COMMUNICATION: Even when I don't like the communication, I appreciate it. Incident reports happen, and are generated consistently even when it's not a big deal (better to know, right). The teachers do not freak out about stuff unnecessarily, and they are very consistent with the kids, even kids who are difficult or differently-abled are treated with great compassion. Plus, I know of no other providers who send an email to tell you if/when there was a kid in the facility with some kind of contagious illness and you should be vigilant in case they were in contact. The first time I saw that email I was concerned but then I realized that it was a precautionary email and yes, it helps me to stay aware of my kids health symptoms in a helpful light. There are so many parents whose kids are there for years, school age kids were there since preK! And, not to name names, but there are several kids there whose parents work for the school district. So I feel like I chose well. :)
