  ⸻ My son attended this daycare for about seven months. The first couple of months were fine, and like most children, he cried during the first two weeks but then adjusted well. After that, everything changed very quickly. His class was changed, and within a short period, two of his teachers left—including one he was very attached to. In total, his class and teachers were changed three times in a short time. With the new teachers, I personally could not connect at all. They were extremely serious, rarely smiled, and did not come across as warm or kind. Over time, my son began crying every day at drop-off and clearly said he did not want to stay. Eventually, he completely refused to go. We gave our notice due to the constant teacher changes, but we were still required to pay for an additional month, even though he no longer attends. Another serious concern came up when my son told me he was pushed by a classmate, fell, hurt his tongue, and cried. This incident was never communicated to me by the teachers, which was very upsetting and concerning. Overall, I am not satisfied with this daycare. One major weakness was the morning routine, where children were merged into a different classroom with different teachers until their own teachers arrived. This caused daily distress for my child and was a constant struggle for us.

  Amazing school! I have Two children that have been going there since they were 8 months and 3 months and are currently almost 4 and 2. The teachers are amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy. As a parent you want to feel comfortable and confident that your child will be taken care of and loved. This school delivers! I love Seeing what new things my child says and learns as the years go on. My youngest still uses sign language while communicating while my oldest repeats his colors in Spanish! The teachers are great about communicating when events happen, what they worked on for the day, and how their day was in general. The school is clean and the classrooms look inviting. Even the moment you walk in the office staff will greet you by name, care about the children, and get back to you with any questions at a timely manner. All in all as a parent I recommend this school to any parent! Miss Sandra, Miss Lulu, Miss Desiree, Miss Lauren, and Miss Kennedy are their current teachers and are great with them! But you can’t go wrong with anyone!

  Update: 09/30/2025 We were so grateful for the wonderful care and dedication shown by Ms. Tuesday, Ms. Esther, and Principal Ms. Tonia during our son’s time at Discovery Isle Preschool. From the very beginning, they each went above and beyond to create a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment where he could grow in confidence and curiosity. Their thoughtful balance of academics and play, along with their constant communication with parents, gave us such peace of mind. Every day, we felt connected to what our child was learning and experiencing. We especially appreciated how genuinely they cared for him—not just as a student, but as a person. Though we eventually moved our son to a preschool closer to home for convenience, Discovery Isle will always hold a special place in our hearts. The warmth, professionalism, and dedication of Ms. Tuesday, Ms. Esther, and Ms. Tonia made our experience here truly exceptional, and we’ll always be grateful for the positive impact they had on our son’s early education journey. ———————————————————————— My son started at Discovery Isle Preschool when he was 3 years old. At the time, he was extremely shy and hesitant around strangers. But thanks to the amazing care and patience of Ms. Ajani, he has truly come out of his shell. Now, he absolutely loves her and looks forward to going to school! The staff at Discovery Isle do a wonderful job of blending academics with play, creating a fun and engaging environment for the kids. I’ve been so impressed with how much my son has learned while still having plenty of time to just be a kid. One of my favorite things about the school is how well they communicate with parents. Every day, we receive pictures and summaries of what the class did — including their activities, nap times, and even what they ate. It really helps me stay connected with what my child is experiencing throughout the day. The facility itself feels very secure, and I appreciate the detailed check-in and check-out process. As a parent, that peace of mind is invaluable. They also go above and beyond with seasonal activities involving families, like the adorable Halloween Trunk or Treat and the heartfelt Mother’s Day event. These experiences really help build a sense of community and make us feel like part of the school family. I’m so grateful we found Discovery Isle. It’s been such a positive and nurturing place for my son to grow!

  We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Discovery Isle Preschool! The staff is warm, attentive, and truly cares about every child. Our little one has grown so much socially and academically since starting here. The facility is always clean, organized, and filled with fun, engaging activities. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel in the loop. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing and safe environment!

  Our preschool teachers, Ms. Anita and Ms. Amanda, are the most wonderful teachers we could have ever hoped for. Our child is learning so much daily, and I am confident that they will have him ready for kindergarten next year. Two thumbs up! ❤️
