This review is for Christina. She is an amazing instructor in the Radiologic Technologist program! She makes learning both fun and effective by incorporating interactive games and activities that really help the material stick. Her teaching style keeps everyone engaged, and she always takes the time to explain concepts clearly. You can tell she truly cares about her students’ success and goes above and beyond to make sure we understand the material. I’ve learned so much in her class and always look forward to coming to her lectures!

There are real colleges and then there is North Medical career college. I'm not impressed by the aura of this place, it is not a conventional school setting.... I guess it's a suite in a residential building that they call a "school". 1. They were very passive when asked about the credentials of the school. 2. This was the third time I scheduled a meeting with them and finally got through to someone. I visited on several occasions and none of the staff was the same. The current receptionist had no idea about the meeting I set up with both of the directors prior to. When I walked in the main entrance I saw a beautiful young lady trying to speak with the assistant director and all she did was speak over her about someone not being allowed back in their program. IT WAS NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF THE SCHOOL. This was a huge red flag!!! That aggressive nature was totally worrisome. That same director greeted me and I just walked out, that was just enough for me. I think it's best I won't be going here.... good luck!

The representation of a school starts with its staff and many students have been taught by a teacher here that has exhibited poor behavior as they inappropriately incorporated statements of sexual innuendos during classes within the time that should be dedicated to teaching students. This teacher also engaged in prejudicial statements they made regarding the ethnicity, personal hygiene, and religious faith of particular students. I found this to be a disgrace to the field of healthcare and all institutions that provide education for such. The lack of respect is unacceptable. There is no place in the professional field of medical healthcare for this atrocious behavior!

This is a warning to not attend this college. Plenty of students have paid and not received the education they were promised. Some have even been denied the certification after paying tuition and competing coursework. Equipment has been outdated. Very unprofessional and the turnaround for teachers is extreme. There are major concerns about the legitimacy of this place from multiple accounts. They Lack the resources needed for anyone serious about their education.

This review is based on my first-hand experience as someone who seriously considered — and briefly attended — [Northern Medical Career College ]. I’m sharing it so future students can make a fully informed decision.
During my time interacting with the program, I encountered several concerns:
Enrollment & Payments: I was asked to make tuition commitments very early. I recommend getting all agreements in writing and understanding the full refund policy before paying.
Communication: Some interactions with staff felt dismissive or overly confrontational, making it hard to address issues constructively.
Instructor Turnover: My program saw multiple instructor changes within months, which disrupted learning.
Externship Sites: Opportunities seemed limited, and placement took longer than expected. Ask for a current site list before enrolling.
Equipment & Resources: In my view, some of the resources were not as up-to-date as advertised. Request a tour and see the equipment in use before committing.
I have attended other schools and had better experiences, so I know what a supportive learning environment can look like. While this is only my personal experience, I hope it encourages others to ask thorough questions and seek multiple opinions before making a decision.
