  My son attended here from age 1 to 2.8yrs old. It took some time getting use to as he was used to being at home with my family. But in the end he really opened up and loved his teachers and friends. Speaking happily about them daily, and sometimes taking his time to leave as he'd like to keep playing. He really cherished Ms.Alo, Mr.Gio, and Ms.Diana. I only switched him to a preschool near me due to the proximity and so he could have some friends going to the same elementary school. However, whenever I drive by Discovery Isle he tells me he wants to go there ("I want to go to daycare now!"). I also am enrolling my second baby to attend here soon, knowing he will be in good hands.

  My son attended Discovery Isle Poway for 1 year and 8 months. We are very happy generally with the daycare center. Pros: - High level of education in shapes, phonics, basic math, etc. - High level of organization and care. - Convenient hours. Open till 6 PM. - Large playground. - Many toys inside. - No LGBT/DEI agenda. At least none that I saw. - High safety standards. Cons: - High tuition price. Even at age 4 you pay more than $20K a year (Jan 2025). Backup daycare cost is $120/day. - I dislike their "citizen of the world" emphasis. Many countries in the world hate us. I don't think learning Spanish at age 4 is helpful. I rarely saw US flag there. I'd much rather they taught loving US and being good citizens. Overall, we were very happy with them and our son is in school now.

  Our daughter has been attending Discovery Isle at this location for almost a year. We are incredibly lucky to get a spot for her here. All the teachers are amazing- from Ms Monica( infant class) to Ms Kali (toddlers), to administrator Melissa, everyone is professional, friendly and has shown nothing but love for the children in their care. In addition, at least once a month the school will have a pizza night, lego night, breakfast with grandparents, story night, etc. Those events are a great opportunity for the parents to meet the child’s teachers as well as the other parents . This is more than a school, this is a community! Finally, our daughter came home one day and started singing in Spanish ( nobody in our home speaks Spanish)😂 This is just another example of the amazing work the school is doing with our daughter.

  We are very happy with our experience here. The staff that support and run operations are very friendly and helpful. They’re kind to our child whom attends and our other child that’s public school age. Teachers are kind and engaging with students every day.

  My daughter has been attending Discovery Isle since she was one year old. The teachers have been very helpful and admin is very understanding. The school definitely has played a big part in her growth.
