  Great safe and secure place for our children to attend daycare and preschool. The oldest learned a lot and made some life long friend. Our youngest recently started here and loves his teachers and friends.

  We took our daughter to Discovery Isle when she was 6 months old and left right before kindergarten. My wife and I were more than pleased. The staff treated our daughter so well and taught her so many things to prepare her for kindergarten. Melinda was always willing to work with our schedule. I highly recommend this Discovery Isle to anyone looking for child care.

  Our child attends DI in Ted Williams in Poway and I don’t think we could have found a better place that hits all items in our parent list. Cleanliness Safety Genuine Care Engaged Teachers and Staff Warm Environment Learning through play and project type activities Support for parents A drop offs can be tough and in my time here the teachers understand when you need help and will take your child off your hands to ease them into class. You do have to take the time to communicate with them and let them know what your concerns are and they will do their best to help your child adjust. We have Miss Leang and Miss Emily currently and they are wonderful people that I trust my child with. Their principal is also highly engaged and was all over a concern my husband had when he and I switched our roles in morning drop off. She took care in the concern and the whole team contacted me to understand what was going on with his fussiness with drop offs and paid closer attention to him to see what we all could do to help him transition from mom and dad to class. This is his second preschool since we moved here and he enjoys DI much more as do I. Take a tour to really get a feel for yourself. Lastly the most important thing is that when you walk in to pick up your child there is always someone there at the front office or walking around. They take the time to get to know parents and greet them. That makes us feel our child will be safe.

  As a first time mom I did my homework by analyzing many different schools before deciding to take my son here. When I walked into this school I immediately knew this was the right fit. The staff was incredibly welcoming. My son has been there almost a year and we have been very pleased. My son looks forward to going everyday and loves his teachers.

  As opposed to a prior review, my family has had a very good experience at DI. We moved to Poway from Central San Diego and were looking for a new day care/preschool for our then 4 yr old daughter and 2 yr old son. The teachers interacted with the kids very easily and our children love them, the facilities are clean and safe. Since then our daughter has moved onto kindergarten where she's really been comfortable from a social as well as academic standpoint. Our son continues at DI and we've enrolled our youngest as well. They both continue to do very well there. I highly recommend DI.
