One of the most welcoming and accepting congregations I’ve ever attended. Services are uplifting and Christ-centered, and they make sure you have a place, whether you’re a first-timer or a regular.

I moved here to Palo Alto in September and came to church here. The moment I walked in I was welcomed by a member of the congregation! The service was great- a few speakers (men and women!), simple singing, and an optional Sunday school class after the 50 minute chapel.
They did pass around bread and water for a sacrament, optional to take. No donations were asked for.
Most people dressed in nicer clothing, but some in casual (jeans). There are 2 services each week - 9:30am and 12:30. This building is the meeting place for single Christians to meet and worship!

I've been attending church here weekly for a couple years now. What I love about this congregation as opposed to others I've been to is how fearlessly they address modern issues and how Christianity can be applied in today's world.
Meetings are powerful and rejuvenating. Fellow worshippers are very welcoming. There are also several church-sponsored activities throughout the week to the point that the church really has become the anchor of my social life.
Definitely worth a visit!
Sundays at 9am or 1pm.

My experience in the Stanford congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the 'Mormon' Church) has helped me find greater peace, fulfillment, and direction during one of the most challenging times of my life.
Each Sunday, about 150-200 single adults (both young working professionals and students) meet at 9 am or 1 pm. Together we gather to remember the Lord, Jesus Christ, and His sacrifice for all. Uplifting sermons, interactive doctrinal discussions, and plenty of wholesome and fun social activities.
Come join with us. You'll find friends, feel the spirit of the Lord, and have opportunities to serve others in the community. All visitors welcome!
