  I had a wonderful experience with Discovery Isle overall. I moved from VA and reached out and was provided with great information and detail care. Once I arrived I toured with Ms. Nefris and loved the preschool, safety, location as well as the staff. The staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and genuinely love working with the children. My child was always excited to go and came home happy, which says a lot about the nurturing environment they provide. The activities are creative and engaging, and I always felt confident my child was safe and well-looked after. My child fell in love with his two teachers, Ms. Blake & Mrs. Jennifer. They weren’t just watching him—they were truly teaching him and inspired him. In his time there, he learned so much, from Spanish words and famous painters to animal facts and more. They even helped instill a sense of responsibility through classroom roles, which he loved and took pride in. Every day, he came home excited to share what he had learned, and I could see his confidence and curiosity grow. The only two downsides for us were that lunch was not provided daily, which meant extra daily prep for parents, and the outdoor play area had sand. While my child loved playing in it, it did mean a lot of sand made its way into my car and home. Also, I did enjoy (optional & additional cost- $5) pizza Friday's for my son where I didn't have to prep lunch :). Overall, I highly recommend Discovery Isle for their loving staff, great activities, and safe environment—just be prepared to pack lunches, plenty of love & care and deal with a little extra sand! I would love to shout out specific members of the team but honestly it's the entire team/staff at Discovery Isle is AMAZING :) Also the events and parent involved activities are super amazing.

  I can’t express enough how grateful I am for the care, attention, and love this daycare has shown to both my children and me as a mother. Like many parents, I was nervous about leaving my little ones in someone else's care, but from day one, Ms. Melissa and Ms. Nefris made me feel completely at ease. They went out of their way to accommodate me so I could breastfeed both of my kiddos during lunches for a year each. They offered emotional support when we weaned off each time. Comforted me during all ups and downs. The teachers are not only warm and nurturing but also incredibly professional. They take the time to truly get to know each child and provide personalized attention. My kids leave stopping by past teachers to hug them, they are eager to go to school, and come home with stories of playing with their friends. Their education also shines out above similar age groups. What meant the most to me was how supported I felt as a parent. The regular updates, open communication, and genuine care they showed helped me feel confident and included. It wasn’t just about watching my kids—it was about being part of a village that truly cares. The stories and pictures they sent in made my hard days at work disappear. Their little personalized artwork and projects decorate my home to be treasured forever. The events they through gave me a chance to meet other parents and bond life long friendships with people my kids love. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and enriching environment for their children.

  I have a strong discontent regarding the manner in which the administration handles enrollment. I placed my daughter on the waitlist while I was six months pregnant, and now, as my daughter approaches her second birthday this month, I have yet to receive any updates via phone call. I contacted Melissa back in February, and she assured me that she would reach out in a couple of weeks. Now that we are in June, I have received no communication, and I find their lack of communication to be unacceptable.

  My 1 year old son attends this school and I can’t find one bad thing to say about it. The front office staff is very helpful and resourceful and they will work with you, if you have any questions and concerns. My son’s teachers are the best, they always keep me updated throughout the day with emails and photos letting me know how my son’s day is going and what he’s learned. Wouldn’t see myself unenrolling from this preschool anytime soon. Special shout out to Ms.Alyssa in the front office she’s the best!

  The staff here is amazing and everyone is friendly. I'm sorry to hear of a previous reviewer's negative experience - because that is not indicative of the daily interaction my family had at Discovery Isle in Murrieta, where our son attended for a year. At first, I'll admit I was hesitant to check out a facility in a shopping center, but once I visited Discovery Isle my fears were put to rest. It is tucked in the back of the shopping complex, and there is plenty of outdoor space for the children to play. The classrooms are clean, and the building is secure. Every morning we were greeting in a cheerful manner by Ms. Jennifer or Ms. Renee (or whomever was covering the front desk). The curriculum is age-appropriate and I appreciated the monthly and daily updates we received on our son's activities and progress. During our son's time there, he was moved up a class based on his age. Teachers in both classrooms kept us apprised of how our son was doing, and welcomed the opportunity to speak with us when we had questions or wanted to give updates. Ms. Leanna is amazing! She has so much patience and gave great ideas for helping our son develop a joy for learning and respect for others. I cannot say enough good things about this early childhood education center. I would highly recommend Discovery Isle to anyone looking for preschool/care for their child.
