  I went to GK academy for the manicure course and just passed the state board exam!! Miss Bessie did an incredible job in helping me feel prepared for the exam and taught me so so much about the beauty business as my teacher. She is not only super talented as an artist, but also as a teacher - she helped me understand things I otherwise struggled with and really helps students meet their full potential Miss Martha is also extremely knowledgeable and brings so much valuable real world experience. Miss Lilly makes every student feel cared for and helped me so much during my time at GK. I highly recommend GK over any other beauty school in the area if you want a thorough understanding of your craft and a solid foundation for your state board exam! Thank you GK for helping me get my license!!

  The teachers are great, but the people who run the school aren’t. They blatantly lied to all the students, saying they wouldn’t be doing construction during school hours. Every day for the last month I walk into a safety hazard. I bring models in, and they have to breathe in saw dust and paint fumes. Last week I walked into the break room and stepped on a nail that was sticking out of a piece of plywood. It’s not okay. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone.

  I absolutely LOVE GK Academy!! I have been coming for almost two years for my hair, facials, and nails and always get excellent treatment for a fraction of the price. The students are great and the management top notch. Great place and very friendly and accommodating staff.

  If you are curious about diving deeper into learning about beauty whether that’s skin-care, make-up, hair, lashing, waxing & more! I am a GKA graduate of the esthetician program, my experience here was so fun, especially being a part of a group that helped me grow. This is a great start for your journey!! Goodluck✨

  Had an amazing experience at this school. The education was exceptional and the staff is so wonderful. Would highly recommend this school for anyone interested in a career in the cosmetology or esthetician industry.
