  Our family has had such a wonderful experience at this Merryhill location. I’ve now had 2 children enrolled here and both have had positive experiences! From the very first day, it was clear how much the teachers and staff truly care about the children. My daughter started in Ms. Jada’s class and moved with her from the beginner class to the intermediate class. She was absolutely phenomenal and made a huge positive impact on her transition into school. When she moved into elementary school it was such a positive and exciting experience for her and I think a huge part of that was due to Ms. Jada preparing her to make that transition! As a parent with high anxiety, bringing my 1-year-old to school for the first time felt overwhelming, but Ms. Robin and Ms. Jasmine completely eased that fear for me! They made me feel safe, reassured, and confident that my child was in loving, capable hands. Their patience and open communication meant more to me than I can put into words. They also placed my son in the BEST class, his teachers are so compassionate and genuinely care for the kids in their room. Ms. Maria, Ms. Marisa, and Ms. Nina are always playing with the kids and doing activities, they send us pictures and updates continuously throughout the day so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything! I love how much the school focuses on both learning and growing independently. This applies to both my son and daughter. I’ve been able to work on getting rid of the paci with the help of their teachers and also potty training (with my older child) AGAIN Ms. Jada and Ms. Martha you are absolute ROCK STARS thank you SO much! It is so nice to have the support of the teachers and staff even when sometimes it’s easier to just give the paci, they truly work with us to help our babies grow. 🥹

  We are extremely happy and satisfied with the level of care and professionalism extended by the faculty and staff during the time both of our sons have attended Merryhill Harbour Point. Our eldest had a great experience and curriculum over the years under the care of Ms. Martha, Ms. Aroma, Ms. Myra, Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Monette, Ms. Lynn, and Ms. Jada. We especially appreciated that the school was flexible with our eldest child’s dietary needs as he had a severe allergy to certain foods and Ms. Robin was able to accommodate requests such as feeding and warming his own home-prepared food. Ms. Robin and Ms. Jasmine have also been especially attentive to parents’ concerns and needs on a range of other issues and they both are always open to discuss anything which we appreciate as well. We had such a wonderful experience with our oldest that we sent our youngest there as an infant and are grateful for the high-level of care provided by Ms. Kelly, Ms. Katelyn, Ms. Kia, Ms. Marissa, Ms. Nina, and Ms. Liyi over the years. The youngest is currently living his best life daily going to class with Ms. Cherisse, Ms. Emma, and Ms. Sheena and we are constantly updated via the app and email with pictures of fun activities that our youngest is participating in throughout the day. Throughout the years, we have seen the dedication of many of the teachers, who personally plan and procure arts and crafts activities and snacks on their own for the enjoyment of their students. We would not hesitate to send any future children of our own and would also recommend Merryhill Harbour Point to our family and friends.

  Merryhill Harbour in Elk Grove! As both a parent and someone deeply attuned to early childhood development, I can confidently say this school provides an exceptional environment for young learners. From the moment we enrolled our child as an infant to now in the toddler program, we’ve consistently witnessed a thoughtful, nurturing, and developmentally enriching approach. The teachers are intentional in how they engage with the children, fostering curiosity, emotional growth, and independence through play-based and child-led exploration. Ms. Kelly has been incredible. She exudes warmth and always finds ways to scaffold our child’s growth, supporting milestones in such a calm, encouraging way. Ms. Maria is engaging and attuned to each child’s unique temperament, bringing out the best in every classroom moment. Ms. Nina brings such a motherly, compassionate energy. She not only nurtures the children but also supports parents with practical, empathetic guidance that has truly helped me navigate new stages of parenthood. Ms. Marisa has a grounding presence and creates a peaceful start to the day, especially on mornings when transitions are tough. Her calm energy makes all the difference. Ms. Katelyn is remarkable in sparking our child’s natural curiosity and fostering cognitive development through thoughtful activities and open-ended exploration. A special note of appreciation to Ms. Robin (Principal) and Ms. Jasmine (Vice Principal). Their leadership sets the tone for the entire school, and it’s evident they’ve cultivated a culture of care, communication, and professional excellence among the staff. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found a school that not only meets but exceeds expectations in creating a safe, stimulating, and emotionally rich foundation for lifelong learning.   Our 3 year old daughter has the most amazing teacher, and we are so greatful for her. Ms. Cheriss has been a true blessing in our daughter’s life. From the very first day, she created a classroom environment filled with love, warmth, and encouragement. It’s not easy to entrust your child to someone else’s care, but with Ms. Cheriss, it has always felt like she is an extension of our family. She has a special gift for connecting with young children — meeting them exactly where they are, emotionally and developmentally, and guiding them with such patience and kindness. Our daughter absolutely adores her. What stands out most about Ms. Cheriss is how intentional she is. Whether she’s fostering creativity through art, encouraging independence, or helping the children navigate big feelings with gentle understanding, she does it all with a joyful spirit and deep dedication. It’s clear that she truly loves what she does, and that love shines through in her interactions with every child. We are beyond grateful for the impact she’s had on our daughter’s early education and emotional growth. Thank you, Ms. Cheriss, for being such a positive, inspiring presence in our child’s life. You are truly one of a kind!

  This is our 3rd and FINAL daycare! We can't say enough GREAT things about Merryhill Harbour Point. Our son is 20 mos and was enrolled in February and it was hard to transition at first, but understand that with any child and daycare. Stephanie (Principal) & Maybeline (Assistant Principal) are wonderful and so are his toddler teachers, Ms. Pravina, Ms. Ebony, Ms. Nina & Ms. Marisa, they really do care for him and cater to his needs. We've seen him grow so much in these last couple of months we couldn't be happier. We just enrolled him full-time and can't wait to see the milestones he'll make. We would recommend Merryhill to everyone we know.
