  VIP music has been a blessing for both of my children’s music journey and my own. All of the teachers are highly skilled and credentialed at not only their craft in music but at teaching. Everyone’s great at working with kids and adults. They care about their students, put time into their lesson planning, and they cater to the needs of their clientele. They have opportunities to put kids in situations where they apply what they learned in a band performance Which is really important to develop your musical ability. The price is very affordable and there’s a lot of flexibility with scheduling. VIP offers instructions on all different types of instruments Including voice. I couldn’t ask for a better program to be a part of. I highly recommend.

  At VIP Music you are treated like you are special and that talent you are trying to find is in you already. They are experts at finding it and growing it bigger that you imagined. I’m 64 and only a few years ago I went to learn how to play the bass. I had no knowledge of how to play a string instruments let alone scales and other music theory things. From day one I was encouraged to find songs I like that I can play to in my spare time. I enjoyed it so much that if I sit down to play you may as well write me off for the next 3-6 hours, because I love playing it so much. If anyone out there, no matter what age you are, is thinking about learning an instrument or just like to sing, this is the best place in all of San Diego county or more to find your talent and have a really wonderful experience! Prices are reasonable too. They work with your schedule and make it so that you have opportunities to show your new talent to enthusiastic people who love music. These guys are the best! Most fun I’ve had in some time!

  My son has been attending this school for a few years now.He's worked on his skills on the piano, drums, and soon the guitar. You can tell that the instructors LOVE music, that it's a huge part of their lives and that they enjoy sharing that with their students! My son loves to learn and play with the instructors & other students and we get to enjoy the performances they have throughout the year. Would definitely recommend if you're a musician who wants to take your skills to the next level or have never played an instrument & want to start. Update: we're now in August 2025 and still going strong! At this point my son has been taking the guitar and vocal lessons and has had the opportunity to perform solo in a couple of different events with VIP. Being on stage playing his guitar while singing helped him develop his identity as a musician and has now composed songs as well. Maria & the rest of the instructors continue to help him develop & improve his skills. Don't know what his future holds for him but for now he's absolutely loving his musical journey ❤️

  I was looking for a place for my granddaughter to learn Violin. I asked one my co-workers and he gave me Maria’s phone number. He told me how Maria had helped him. We are going on 2 years , Maria is very kind understanding I recommend anyone wanting to learn music to join VIP school of music. Also she is very flexible with my work schedule.
