  I'm currently in VN23 at Angeles College. Before attending this program, I was actually in an ADN program at the start of the year. Due to personal reasons, I had to put my RN at pause which made me feel like becoming a nurse wasn't achievable. Dina works with you and most importantly, doesn't make you feel like a number. Based on my past experience with admissions, she really stands out and makes it her mission to provide whatever she can to make sure you are making the right decision for yourself. I would like to give a big shout out to Dina in admissions. It still feels surreal that I was able to get into an affordable and flexible program. Dina did an amazing job in guiding me and helping me enroll and complete all required prerequisites. This part time cohort works perfectly with my busy schedule. All of the instructors have been very kind and supportive when it comes to the workload. I started in November and so far everyone has been very detailed with the material and my skills instructors are awesome as well. Ms. Jennifer is a great instructor and makes work very straightforward during theory. On the weekends, Ms. Brenda and Ms. Annette are also amazing and really empower us to take action when it comes to demonstrating our skills during our skill lab sessions. Look for an affordable nursing program to complete your LVN in one year? Angeles College in City of Industry is a great option.

  I waited till I passed NCLEX to give my honest review about this college. The professors were very kind and strict. Some teachers even offered study guides and review sessions on zoom. The last term was very stressful because the nursing prepared the graduating class for NCLEX reviews during term 4 and ATI NCLEX specialists came in towards the end of the term before we completed the program. I can’t thank Angeles College enough because I’m now moving forward with my new job as an LVN. If you are looking I suggest you check out the college. It is to me a great school.

  The staff doesn't teach us anything other than just read & doesn't review any chapters or explain work. This school has an issue with adressing our problems. They can gladly take our payments but they cant help us when we are in need. Very unorganized! My time here has been draining my mental health.

  I just complete the medical assignment program at Angeles College . I was not sure at first if I made the right decision yet before I started the program but let me tell you- it’s the best decision I made in my life. The Medical Assistant program changed my life. I was hired even before receiving my MA certificate at the clinic where I went to complete the clinical hours. Now I’m to start working for doctors in Irvine. Even though it’s a part time position, the hourly rate is $45 per hour, which allows me for money and time to advance my skills and knowledge as an LVN. If you are looking for schools to become nurses but concerned about English, check out their MA program at Angeles. The MA is only 5 months before going out to practice, which is how I got my first job through the extenship site. Their tuition is cheapest in the La Puente area. I used financial aid to cover the tuition. I am so grateful of Angeles College!!

  I had a great experience in the LVN program at Angeles College. The program is well organized, the instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and the tuition is very reasonable compared to other programs. I felt well prepared and supported throughout my time in the program. I especially want to give a huge thank you to Dina from admissions. She was incredibly helpful during the entire admission process and continued to support me even after I was accepted into the program. She was always patient, responsive, and kind, and made everything feel much less stressful. Dina truly goes above and beyond for students, and her support made a big difference in my experience. I highly recommend the LVN program at Angeles College to anyone looking for a supportive environment and a smooth admission process.
